Changing the topic temporarily, I'm currently enjoying a Sap Maple Lager from local Amber's Brewery http://www.ambersbrewing.com/beersvml.htmlI like it, or http://www.beeradvocate.com/beer/profile/14127/44373 was interupted by a phone call as I typed.

Hmmm, I wonder how many friends and relations I could talk into a road trip involving, , and .
We've passed the 48 hours and no word. Good news would be nice about now...
Say it with me, 'Be anxious for nothing'.

Hmm, well on another topic-that of felines...Our annual Fringe festival http://www.fringetheatreadventures.ca wraps up this evening. Among the productions I saw this year was The Adventures Of Ayla And Avalon, an imaginative & I thought well acted piece about 2 houses whose world is shaken up-if not turned upside down-by a home renovation.

Well, the weather as I waited for my last show of The Fringe(about 7:30pm), was 15C or 59F, a bit cool but fairly typical for late August. As was the case last year I saw performance poet Jem Rolls from Camberley Surrey. I've seen him 4 times now, he's an energetic & animated performer - very entertaining. Titled 'Jem Rolls' Leastest Flops', the show was somewhat of a best of http://www.edmontonjournal.com/life/summer-guide/Rolls+Leasest+Flops/1874580/story.html . I also suggest you Google 'Jem Rolls Dinosaurs' to see a hilarious bit, wherein the author claims to be able to interpret birdsong. Getting back to temp., it was a couple degrees cooler as I made my way home after 9-still quite nice. Another fine wordsmith I saw(also from The U.K.)was former psych. nurse Rob Gee with his performance titled Fruitcake-a brief review- http://www.edmontonjournal.com/life/summer-guideFruitcake/1874337/story.html .

I don't know why it is hidden, Evangelibe. My guess is that it was not written in English.

I like the links about the Fringe performers.
In the last week or maybe two, there were a few days that were under 90F. The days are getting a bit shorter and cooling off slowly. Bit of a relief as it's been a summer of record high temps and not our usual rainfall.

One night last week, we had an overnight low of 70. I woke up with one of the cats under the sheet because he was cold.

It's been reasonably hot & dry here too(at least hot for us), we just broke a record for high temp. Sept. 3rd-seems to me, 32C or thereabouts...89.6F.
But, about the 'dry' - http://www.vueweekly.com/article.php?id=12544
Oh & on an unrelated note...a newbie I welcomed mentioned that they had a twitter account. So I found them & clicked the 'Follow' option(which brings up their tweets on my page). I was just notified by twitter that they're also following me.
