h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

A couple of days ago a man walked into our store and asked for help. He wanted the "herbal stuff that is meant to help you pass drug tests". After he was assisted by a cashier, he looked around a bit and bought a few things. As he was preparing to leave, he noticed the Help Wanted sign. Then, he asked for an employment application.

I should probably tell you that not only are my co workers aware that I post stuff here... Some of them write stuff down so I can post it later.

So, are you going to interview him?

My guess would be...no, but I don't have to make that decision.

At one of my former parks, we had a guy show up for a seasonal laborer interview unshowered, reeking of alcohol, wearing a "Will Work For Beer" t-shirt. As a state agency, we had to interview, but needless to say we didn't hire

Does your state require that you keep a straight face while interviewing?

My friend has a shirt that reads: "You're just jealous because the voices are talking to me". She used to wear that to work quite a bit. Then again, we had someone else regularly wearing a Red Dwarf shirt with "Smeg Off!" on the back. I was the one with the Road Kill Cafe shirt...(I was the kitchen manager at the time).

Trust me, it was a very short interview, because we couldn't keep from busting!

Unfortunately, uniforms limit our creativity of expression...

My boss liked the Roadkill Cafe shirt. Most of the time my hair was long enough to cover the Roadkill part and all most people saw was Bugs Bunny and Wile E. Coyote. There is one customer who asked me to move my hair so he could see the rest of the menu(it was on the back of the shirt). He got as far as Roasted Armadillo on the half shell and couldn't stop laughing. It's a vegetarian restaurant...

I used to wear my Eagles shirt there too...the one with Hell Freezes Over on the front.

It's actually really 'behaving'...like I scared it by seeing the dr., now it knows I mean business lol.

Nothing quite like spontaneously healing and then trying to convince the there was a problem.

Right...then as soon as I leave the office "Oooh *winces with minor discomfort* there's that little twinge again!"

Every now and then, my knee caps attempt to slip out of place ...loudly, usually as I turn or change directions. I'm used to it, and it sounds worse than it feels. However, a few other people have been alarmed by the noise.

Oh, I can imagine...sorry about the delay there, computer was 'acting up' *rolls eyes & mutters "yet Again!"*
