Holiday

Just returned from holiday in Madeira with hubby, mother & younger son. Now I need a rest.
At least the house is still intact and not obviously dirtier after its week in the care of older son. And the sun is shining to dry the copious washing.
Normality resumed.

Huge relief & jubilation, son has achieved required A level & STEP grades for his firdt choice place at uni. 
Congrats to those whose results were as hoped & comiserations to those who aren't as happy.

Drat! I keep forgeting there's often more than one page to conversations & find my posting is out of sync as the topic has evolved.
Resolve, must be more careful in future. But I'm finding lots of interesting coversations.

Cat Quirks

An arbitrary entry. When I went into the kitchen this morning our cat was outside the back door devouring a vole. As soon as she saw me, she dropped it, came in and asked for breakfast. Having had that she went out again & polished off the vole. Greedy guts.
