Low fat sandwiches
Anushodhak Posted Oct 15, 2003
Low fat sandwiches
Filling; sliced tomato, sliced sweet paper, sliced onions sliced boiled potatoes, low fat goat cheese, seasoning, little bit olive oil, bread
On the slightly greased backing tray put a bread slice, on the bread slice put tomatoes, onions, peppers and potato slices cover with goat cheese slices sprinkle some seasoning and pinch of salt to taste and put another bread slice. Sprinkle some olive on it and back it. Eat with tomato ketchup dip or any yogurt dip.
2. Grill sliced tomatoes, peppers and onions till soft and use as filling
PS: You can have more than one layer of bread slices by filling potatoes in one layer, cheese in second, tomatoes in third, and so on......
3. Experiment with using bits of coriander leaves or parsley or garlic sauce in filling. If you experiment with different vegetables, you will be better able to discover the taste you prefer
If you prefer spicy sandwich, put some tomato chilly sauce on the inner layer of bread.
If you are vegetarian do not bother much about high fat contents, as we need fats and if source is not meat then it has to come from oil or butter. Extra virgin olive oil is healthier as it is rather unprocessed.
Hope you will like the recipe

I just wanted to drop you a note to say...I'm new to h2g2, but I've been a fan of Mister Adams for a number of years. Somehow I feel lost without him. I'd like to become an active member here but I'm still not sure where to start. It will take me some time to get the hang of it. Any hints or words of wisdom?? Thanks!!

cheers, I'm still finding out lots of stuff! have you visited my space? I've looked at your intro briefly - it seems to be quite common for people from the oil industry to become paramedics, I guess you all get a lot of medical training
