Well, I could entrust you with a hug delivery for her, and so you'd have to at least say 'Hi, I'm spimcoot, and Amy asked me to give you a hug'...
And since fotango's not working, I can't give you a link to a photo right yet...

My gosh, what a notion: will it work on complete strangers too? Having seen her website I'm about as equipped as I can be, which probably isn't very. I'll do my best to deliver, though.

Well, I just said I *could* entrust you with it, but since you sound willing, go for it
And I think I know about half the attendees *off top of head*

No, I meant *complete* strangers: you know, everyday schmoes in the street. Perhaps not (crivens, it's hard enough with people I know well).

He he, yes:
'Excuse me Madam but Amy says I'm to give you a hug.'
'What! Great Aunt Amy returned from the grave!!? To wreak her terrible revenge from the afterlife!!!!???? Flee! Flee to the hills!!'
Any reports of mass hysteria sweeping Blighty at the hands of a harbinger of doom may not be exaggerated.

Nearly home time for me. Won't be online tonight as I am going drinking with my sister and cousin (who is an occasional lurker). See you tomorrow, albeit blurred.

I think that's all the loose ends from the meet tied up... for now. 'Course, these things will never be complete without my dearest friends from foreign shores. One day...

There's a facial expression to sum up how I've been, and several noises, but I'm damned if I can think of a word for it so I'll fetch a mirror and describe the facial expression for you...
It's like a sneer but with the eyebrows raised: a sort of facial shrug, and with an actual half shrug to accompany it. And the noise goes: nnn, with the middle n sounded higher than the other two to make a soft y sound (the whimper of discontent?).
Not very attractive, really.
I did finally succeed in making a successful Irish coffee last night, though, so that's something. Took a while to track down the method on the internet, though. Far too many sites seem to think whipped cream is involved but I want to drink the thing, not shave in it.
Are you well?

Sorry you've been 'nyeh'... You can always email me if you need an ear to whine into, you know!
I'm doing well, but I really should do some w*rk...

I know, thanks. It's just that, as I said, it's not very attractive. I indulge in private self pity now and then and that seems to work quite well (it's like masturbation but with guilt). And the Irish coffee does the job too...

Nice to hear of problems? No, let's otherwise. Let me relate to you a positive experience instead:
I hate cars and roads but the series of footbridges by which one can traverse the flyovers near to where I live afford one an astonishing view of said flyovers, and I am becoming quite fond of their forms and shapes. This landscape ought to be, and is, a travesty of design and function but there is beauty in it anyway. Walking under a railway bridge which forms part of this landscape last night, a lorry was loading a wrecked car on top of another wreck, and their unholy union was consumated by sparks and revolving lights careening off the underside of the bridge. Breathtaking.
