I do still think that most of what I said on the Tolkien/racism thread was pertinent to what we were discussing, but I apologise for going so in depth into it on that thread. I can see that my criticisms probably came out of the blue and that that wouldn't have been very pleasant for you.

Obviously I really like and respect Le Guin. If you had offered some considered criticism of her work I would have respected that. I felt instead that you were just slagging her off when you didn't know that much about her. I guess we can disagree on that

I don't really want to go into the communication thing that much here, except to say that I don't feel like I have a totally closed mind about you and how you are on h2. It would be fair to say that my patience with all the conflict is wearing thin, however I am sure that things will settle down in time.

I apologise for being as straightforward with you as I have learned I have to be with them, but I have learned that qualifying, "I" statementing and being tactful, just brings on more abuse. I am talking not from the p.o.v., of the teacher BB, as I am sure you know - but as the one being bullied, so make of that what you will!

No wrong as usual Adelaide. Obviously your memory is slipping a few gears again my dear. What the italics advised is that you use the button and not hit back. So if you do consider our corrections and fault finding to be bullying I suggest that you use the recommended method.

It seems reactionary, inflammatory and unkind and reads as plain nasty.

I can see I overstepped the bounds in my earlier posts, and I have made some initial reconciliatory posts since then. Obvously I have hurt you in some way and I am sorry for that. I have apologised for that both there and here.

The nastiness I could probably ignore but I will not accept someone else defining who I am or what my reality is (which is what 'you' statements are designed for).

I am sorry that we didn't get to have this conversation in your PS sooner, but I am not willing to be related with in that way. It is rare for me to feel this disrespected on h2.

I also regret the lost opportunity for me to understand what I did that was unkind although I can probably figure it out myself.

The sad thing is that you probably don't realise how you just lost an ally. I hope at some point we can communicate again - at the moment I don't have the wherewithall in myself to stay in relationship with someone so hard.

You're not used to being so disrespected? Welcome to my world on h2g2! In the last 8 months or so, it has got to be a very nasty place - a sad contrast to what it was in the 2 years before that! Yes, I am hurt, and I interpreted your talk about my communication style as being patronising - but I am willing to accept, if you say so, that was not your intention.

Ah, yeah right. I actually got in touch with Hoo and we planned it all out that he would post directly after I made that joke. In fact Hoo, blicky and I have daily strategy sessions and for weeks now we have been trying to enlist kea and Ben into the Anti-Della Club. Blatherskite and Ferrettbadger are our reconnaissance unit and they report back to us each morning with a full report of your hootoo activities. And of course we also have our spies and wouldn't you just love to know who they are?

actually back when I was lurking I saw you quite often reporting on della and apparition's movements. When your clique decided I was apparition you started giving them links where ever I went.

It all made you look rather sad really. Remember the 'Apology?' thread?

Stop giving away the secrets! If you carry on Bain will rumble that the italics are passing us information about who is yikesing our posts and the true identities of Bain and the other sock puppets.

If you let out any more information she might find out that the final stages of operation Del-etion start next November.
