The other thing about the name change, Della, is if you didn't make such a fuss about people calling you 'Adelaide' I'm sure most people would just assume that 'Della' was a short form. By insisting on 'Adelaide' you draw attention to why you changed your name in the first place, which kind of defeats the purpose, don't you think?

Anyhow, I saw that you gave Matholwch 'permission' to keep calling you Della on the god thread. Yet you made fun of Jez's name when she continued calling you Della.

And, thanks to jwf, it seems you are now part of a group called the 'grudge sisters', which I presume also includes me. Sisters, eh? I wonder if that makes blicky your little brother too.

I gave Matholwch permission to call me Della for three reasons - (1) I have known him on that thread since 2002 (2)There's really no way to stop him, he's is very stubborn (3) There is no malice in him, and none in his calling me Della, but I am not sure that's the case with other people!

He mentioned it on the LOTR thread. Right here:

Well, you probably won't believe me but there is not any malice on my part in calling you Della either. And since I am also very stubborn I shall continue to do so. Why? Because I've been calling you that for a year and a half and you are just not an 'Adelaide' to me.

And just for the record, I'll continue calling you Adelaide/Della/Adele/Debbie, until such time as you need to change it again to avoid the consequences of something you've said.

I call you Della becuase that is what I know you as, the fact that it gets your goat is frankly a bonus!

While we are having a new name diversion I thought you might like to check out mine it was ispired by our "old friend" Bains new name.

I appologise in advance to anyone who finds our self abosorbtion slightly sickly but that's what obsessive love can do to men sometimes.

I thought ~jwf@~ was refering to the way that az, Ben, and Kea "appeared" to be ganging up on Della.

Which is wrong as there was nothing conspiritorial about them all being annoyed with Della at the same time it was just an unhappy coincidence brought about by Della being Della.

I didn't think Ben was included in the grudge sisters because she got her very own mention in that posting. Well, we shall have to ask jwf.

It's official! jwf has confirmed that Della, kea and I are indeed the grudge sisters.

Well, it was a bit of a carry-over from a previous posting he'd made about the 'pack' mentality of certain researchers jumping all over Gig. But it seemed to me anyhow that Gig was quite enjoying all the attention he was getting.

So then jwf posted about some of us (on the link I gave above), presumably giving us his opinion on our 'posting styles'.

Azahar, I very much feel that with Hoo's interpolation, and your applause of it, this conversation has come to a grinding halt. His remark was particularly insensitive, given that the verdommde family is shrinking enough as it is without his daft remarks getting in the way.

Who are you, and what is your connection with Adele/Della/Debbie/Adelaide/etc. and Apparition/Wraith/Blickyimpersonator? Your original handle here was "Don't Mind Me", and you feigned impartiality (badly) in what you called a "war". You persist in claiming you are not Apparition/Wraith/fakeBlicky, yet your every post shows you to be at the very least so similar as to be near indistinguishable.

So... are you a friend of Della/Adele/Adelaide/Debbie's family? Another one of her sons, perhaps? I'm just curious, since you're SO adamant you're not App/Wraith/fakeBlick, what your explanation is for your apparent obsessions here: namely Adele/Della/Debbie/Adelaide. One might almost think you're stalking her, given how regularly you turn up to agree with or defend her.

Any explanations? Or just puerile evasion?
