Should I take one of the balls?

Alright everyone, important decision time.

I know someone with two ball pythons. One is a little adorable darling named Eve that he had first and is keeping. The other is probably about two, she's approximately 3.5 feet now and she's also a sweetie and although he's had her for a while now she was just named Jezebel the other day.

If I don't take Jezebel he's going to keep her, but she's been offered and it's highly tempting. She wasn't really being looked after very well before he got her (I also know the person who had her previously, but she had yet another owner previous to that and for much longer). She was overweight and fairly head shy, but shes not now. And she's highly cool and I get to play with her every time she's out and I'm over there (which is very often, this is probably the first time I've been home for anymore than a night in about a month, and so far it's not actually more than a night but I'm planning on staying home this time).

Here's a picture of a ball python for those of you who are unfamiliar.

smiley - loveblushSee how pretty??

He also has a Brazilian rainbow boa, which has nothing to do with anything except that they're very pretty and I want to put a picture of one of them too.smiley - bigeyes

Anyways, I said I wouldn't decide until after Christmas but... Coolness!!!!! This would be a free snake with a tank, undertank heater (I think) and probably a ceramic heat emitter plus her other stuff.smiley - wow

Happy United Nations Day!

I just looked at my calendar and it says that it's United Nations Day (it's still the 24th for me). Before I saw that I didn't even realize that there was such a thing as United Nations Day.

So how did everyone celebrate?

Look it's me!

I'm here!!!

My internet was dead. Then my cousin used his magical powers to bring it back to life. I had it for about a day. Luckily I did my assignment before it was brutally murdered again. My cousin came back today and fixed it. I don't know what happened to it either time as I was not around. I've had my room back since Friday evening... I've slept in it twice since then. But I'm home tonight. I did some school stuff and now bunny and I are listening to Stiff Little Fingers. Yay!

My room is beautiful and huge and clean and lovely!!!!

It's me, so you know there will be bad news...

This weekend was the most productive weekend ever!!! S and I got the space all cleaned up and took down the wall. I still have to steam clean the carpet and take a load to the dump and then arrange furniture but WOW! We got so much done!!!! smiley - wow I am THRILLED with how much work we actually managed to do. Truly we are amazing.smiley - ok

My dad came today and I took him out for dinner for his birthday (which was the 13th) and got him an ice cream cake. Which I shouldn't have had because I have some kind of cold or something that's keeping me up and making me very tired. (Now I'm having ginger ale.) I'm losing my voice, but some people will probably see that as a good thing.smiley - laugh I also bought him an Alan Parson's Project cd and he bought himself Shaun of the Dead for $10! We had a nice time.smiley - smiley

I keep going downstairs to look at my almost restored and expanded room and it makes me very happy.smiley - wow M still didn't show up and get his stuff and I left him a very angry message.smiley - grr I left this message after I found out that the wiring that was shoved in the ceiling in the room made it a death trap. My dad discovered this and fixed it for me and put the light switch in properly.

So you're probably wondering, where's the bad news? Well I'll tell you. While my dad was fixing the light switch he told me that Bensmiley - dog was put down a week and a half ago.smiley - erm They didn't tell me before because they wanted to do it in person. I stayed cheery and upbeat the rest of the day. I am terribly good at faking that in real life. Plus, I'm not really sure how I feel about it because it really wasn't too unexpected. He was starting to stumble and get forgetful near the end of the summer when I was leaving. I remember saying to my mom "he's stumbling around a lot now, if it gets worse let me know." No one let me know, but they've had bigger things to deal with and have been very busy. From what my dad told me it was probably good that they had him put down. He said that Ben started to yelp all the time (which he was doing a bit before) and sometimes he couldn't walk or do things for himself. And when he got let out he seemed to forget where he was and why he was there. So... I don't know. He would have been 17 this month. He had a really good run for a purebred toy poodle I'm told. He always got compliments from all of the groomers that he's had and everything. It's very odd though, this dog is (was?) only 4 years younger than me. I don't remember him not being around.

So, you've all seen this picture from when he disappeared way back when, but here it is again... http://fundamentallyflawed.deviantart.com/art/Ben-38617039
Isn't he lovely?smiley - smiley
