It must have changed a lot since 1970. when I was there. At that time, there was a huge over-65 population in West Berlin, and I don't remember much from my tour of East Berlin... Oh, right, there was a shrine to Russian soldiers who had died in the war there, with Schumann's "Traumerei" being played .
