I hope he does too, D.
Tacsatduck:
I would never try to send you unless I thought
you could handle them properly. They're very cunning,
so cunning that only a master should consider them.
But, not to worry. knows that he must *never*
let anywhere near my place.
would
not like to have singing telegrams of my Vogon poetry
arrive while he is drinking his eggnog. And, who knows
what I might bribe some to put in that eggnog.

I think my gingerbread cottage is large enough to fit
but I'm not sure.
So, we'll have to invite
to come over and see.

I seem to have scared Dragonfly off
with the 42 s, and now Shea
is making it hard to persuade Tacsatduck
to come back.
I'm ruined!
I guess I'll have to start eating the
gingerbread cottage so it won't go to
waste....

waist, namely mine.

It's been 12 hours, and nobody has been back to visit.
Well, Christmuse is tomorrow, and I need all the help I
can get making to some randomly-chosen
muses.
Since I don't know what the other muses like, I'm going
to give three : a fruitcake, a chocolate
with cherry filling, and an apple gingerbread.
They're bound to like one of them.
<Takes out of oven, lets them
cool, and puts colorful paper and ribbons around them.
Now for the hardest part: choosing which muse or muses
to deliver these to. I don't want to send these to someone
who won't return to H2G2 before next June.

I think that if someone were to bury a time capsule with fruitcake in it, the cake would still be good when it was dug up.
(munches on gingerbread.mmmmm.)

People are coming back. Hooray!
NANCY THE DRAGON: Paul, I found some
honey in the cupboard.
PAUL: Why, do some of our visitors
like honey?
NANCY: There was a bear in some of the
pictures at Shea's personal space. Suppose
the bear tags along when Shea and T.J.
come here?
PAUL: I don't know if I could bear that.

Gratuitous puns are one of my biggest weaknesses, Tac.
My coffee is a strength, though. Today has been the kind of day
when I've had to make a lot of extra coffee.
Talking to myself is probably better than talking to hallucinations.
(Ooh, there's that 6-foot-tall again! And he's brought
his friend the ...Oh, joy!)

If I have time, I'll go through the list
of Muses tonight, until I find one that
likes what I have to give. If Lord Preston
were a muse, he would like the apple gingerbread
cake.

The chocolate cake will go to Lenny, who
wrote "The Ultimate Chocolate Cake" guide article.
The only guide article that mentioned fruitcake
was "Crumbs." The author of that article last visited
H2G2 two and a half years ago.
Gingerbread was mentioned in "Christmas Jokes,
Part III by Venus in Fly-Trap. Venus is not a muse.
