Tilly - back in mauve

Currently listening to: Some throroughly British programme on Discovery Channel...

Well, this has certainly been an awful day. First, we have PE eight in the morning, I'm not feeling 100 % lately so all the guys I'm playing bandy with tells me off, and one of the accidentally bat me on my hand. In the shower I realize I had forgotten my towel, so I have to use paper towels smiley - blush. Then I manage to hit my hand hard in the brick wall (the wall had no business being there, you hear me? smiley - flustered), then I get a paper cut in my little finger, and then... And then... Well, I can't think of anything more unpleasant, but it certainly is enough! I think I need some smiley - cake and smiley - tea

Well, Tine is currently so high off the whole idea of being 18, she has promised to get A Clockwork Orange for me, although my mother doesn't think it's such a good movie... Well, I can tell you what I bought her for her birthday smiley - wow *Drumroll* ... A pinball machine!smiley - biggrin About one meter long and with blinking lights and sound effects and all. Got it as a bargain at the local toyshop. Appearantly the thing didn't pass some control regulations and the shop wanted it off their hands as soon as possible smiley - bigeyes Well, Tine was overjoyed and has been playing at the thing all day smiley - laugh I'm such a good sister...

Hmm, that Mr Coe of yours sound like on teacher I had a few years back, Mr Hall Hansen, he was old and always looked a bit confused, but he had such a sense of humour..! Well, I can add he was the teacher that made me discover Monty Python smiley - biggrin And as a child he had always dreamed of being a locmotive driver, he had practised as a locomotive driver, and he ran off and became a teacher smiley - bigeyes Grown ups are so strange...

Oh, I said I should take up some nearly impossible hobby, and I decided on collecting or simply seeing all the old MGM musicals, and I've been constantly searching the home of the pathetics all day; Ebay smiley - tongueout There's always some little bitch trying to overbid me...

I have to go to bed soon. I'm so incredibly tired after the PE class early this morning...

Toodles!

"Intimate relationships cannot substitute for a life plan. But to have any meaning or viability at all, a life plan must include intimate relationships."
-Harriet Lerner

"Anger is a signal, and one worth listening to."
-Harriet Lerner, The Dance of Anger, 1985

Currently listening to: me whistling 'happy birthday' smiley - whistle Wish Tine a very happy 18th Birthday from me! smiley - bubblysmiley - giftsmiley - cake I would do my world famous birthday dance but:
1. my arm started hurting again when I shut it in the door
2. I've only just realised how stupid I look while doing it smiley - erm
I hope Tine knows how lucky she is to have a sister who buys her such good presents. If she doesn't you can always become my big sis.. even if it is only buy a few monthssmiley - biggrin

So I had my injections and medicine on a sugar cube today.. what was all the fuss about?? I was a bleeder too, and it did bleed all over my school polo shirt as well, but it wasn't as painful as everyone was saying. It didn't even hurt as much as a flea bite, I've had more painful Maths lessons smiley - huh The thing is, I'm on a completely different pain threshold to everyone else. While I was sitting there with a needle in my arm I couldn't help notice that everyone else was in a quiet (and sometimes even loud) state of panic. I thought that this was bizzarre..

'A Clockwork Orange' isn't everyones cup of tea. If people do like it, they like it for different reasons. I liked it partly for Malcolm McDowel (smiley - tongueout) and partly for the brilliant acting and screenplay, well I loved pretty much all of it.

Mr Hall Hansen may have been a Monty Python fan but did he have a nice looking backside smiley - winkeye

Ugh, I wouldn't ever use e-bay. Not even if you offered me a tidy lump sum for using it smiley - headhurts The auction on neopets has been the bane of my soul ever since I came to realise it existed smiley - grr The neopian auction house has driven me to the brink of murder on several occasions so I don't think I could manage with the real thing.

smiley - ghostIt's Halloween tommorow! I'm really looking forward to it even though I'll be spending my evening cooped up in a doctors surgery smiley - cross As you don't celebrate it over there, have your own private celebrations. Why should you get to miss out on all the fun? Do Tarot readings for your friends, play silly halloween party games like bobbing for apples and most importantly.. eat smiley - toffeeapple's and smiley - pumpkin's!
I promised that I'd bring in my tarot cards. I remember when I did my own reading once, I did the fan spread. I got pretty normal things until I came to my love life smiley - erm The three cards, that I had picked, when turned over ended up being: The 10 of Swords, Death and The Tower smiley - blue
It's not really the sort of image you want to whip up when thinking of your future romance prospects.
I must let it go, it's too good a day to spend dwelling on such subjects smiley - biggrin It's Halloween tommorow!!!! Yey!
Oh, and remember to spread the word of Halloween to all your friends! Halloween isn't just once a year, make it an every day thing: become a goth smiley - ok

Oh no! Son of a.. !!!! I've just realised! smiley - doh My art h/w! It was supposed to be two different artists and I've done two of the same!! Oh no! And it's got to be handed it tommorow.. and I have lots of other stuff to do.. if I don't get another drawing done and a breif history on the artist I'm going to be in soo much trouble smiley - wah
Ta,

Tilly - back in mauve

Currently listening to: Tine and Daniel sitting on the sofa... playing pinball! smiley - biggrin I hit right on the nail, I see...

Well, I guess we all are being unlucky - I'm trying my best at typing with my bandaged hand smiley - bruised Well, the hand I smashed in the wall yesterday is not better (it's actually swollen at the time), so the school nurse insisted on bandaging it for support and protection ("Support and protection" smiley - silly If I ever become a bodyguard that will be my motto!) I tried unsuccessfully to get Prof. Petters pity, but he is too wrapped up with... Well, anything that seems more important than a weird teenager complaining loudly about her hand injury smiley - bigeyes At least it stole some of the attention away from my haircut smiley - erm Well, my mother cut my hair yesterday, and the result wasn't exactly lucky. I now have some of the shortest hair in class, including the boys. I used a ton of hairspray to make it look ruffled, but my hair is sadly even more persistent and disciplined than me...

Well, the worst thing is; Mr Hall Hansen actually HAD a nice backside, in spite of his 60 years smiley - blush He is a healthmaniac, and always jogged to school (I collided with him more than once with my bike some early mornings) At least I thikn he's about 60 - the dentist I went to was a friend of him, and he used to joke about that if I couldn't guess his correct age, I wouldn't get any painkillers smiley - biggrin The only "painful dentist" joke I've ever laughed at.

Well, this is the first year ever Norway officially tries to celebrate Halloween (although no one can decide on a appropriate date) Tomorrow'll do smiley - bigeyes I actually don't have time, tomorrow is OD'day ("Operation Daywork") and then I am going to Waldeman's, a very hip restaurant where the waiters (young, atheltic men) are also the performers smiley - tongueout Well, it's a part of my sister's birthday and the show'll last about 6 hours (Tine says thank you, BTW)
Do you have OD? Once a year most the youths in Norway gets one day off school for working to collect a sum of money for the years' cause. This year it's for the children in Sierra Leone, so tomorrow I'm going to rake leaves and wash floors for the hard earned 200 kr.

Well, Tine and Daniel is soon leaving for a dance class in Oslo, and I get the house for myself! Yay! smiley - biggrin

Toodles!

"Try not to become a man of success but rather to become a man of value."
-Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955)

"A great secret of success is to go through life as a man who never gets used up."
-Albert Schweitzer

Currently listening to: nothingness, it's quiet.. a little.. too.. quiet.. Aha! Here come the trick or treaters, I knew there was somthing missing. Exscuse me while I go and scare them with the sight of me in my dressingown..
Haha! That scared the little buggers! smiley - devil

Ugh, never ever let me go to that doctor ever again smiley - yuk What a woman! She talked to me like I was three and even insisted I make an apointment with my 'mummy' there! It's none of my Mum's business!
I love her to bits, but when it comes to seeing a doctor about more delicate issues I'd rather she wasn't involved smiley - erm
Whats happening to me is only my business, and I expect to be treated like an adult not some half wit toddler smiley - steam She didn't help me at all, she wouldn't even tell me what she intended to do about it! So my Mum has to make another appointment and the only ones which aren't in two weeks are in the mornings so my Mum has to keep me off school while we all have a 'talk' smiley - erm

Not you too! Dearie me, we both seem to be having a spate of bad luck at the moment. Nothing is going right for me smiley - blue I'm behind at school, I haven't had a good nights sleep in a fortnight, I haven't got to bed before 11.00pm in a month and my mind is on the verge of a complete mental breakdown..

Nope, I've never heard of a OD. Over here we are so lazy and irresponsible it wouldn't occur to us to get up off our backsides and help out other people once in a while smiley - cross Kids today, they don't know the meaning of good honest hard work.. make way for old Granny Nate..

I had another talk with Mr Coe again today (nice backside as usual) and boy is he sweet! We got talking about Anthony Burgess, I said it was a shame he would only be remembered (by the majority) for a Clockwork Orange, and that I wish I could try reading more by him. He piped up and said that one of his favourites was 'End Of The World News' and that he'd be happy to find it and lend it to me.. now how thoughtful is that? smiley - biggrin Mind you, I did lend him 'Interview With the Vampire' .. he didn't think much of it though.
We also got chatting about our favourite films, and the weird thing is we both love all the same films! It's really very creepy, we both have a strange admiration for Jack Nicholson too smiley - huh
It's for sure, he's most definately my favourite teacher.. we also found out that our English teacher isn't coming back to teach us and Mr Coe said he'd stay on for as long as they wanted him smiley - biggrin So it looks like we are going to have him for another year and maybe even until we finish our GCSE's! Woo hoo!!!

Well, I'd better go. I've been attacking this pile of homework from every angle but it doesn't seem to get any smaller smiley - wah My god, It's at times like this you just want to get into bed and never come out again..
Ta,

Currently listening to: Well, nothing.

Yes, since I was away most of last night, I didn't encounter many trick or treaters, but those I did meet, I was deeply disappointed over smiley - erm There was only four kids at my age with some of those 'Scream' mask pulled over their faces, yelling (in a very bad Norwegian/English) "Trikk ar triiit!" Well, since we hadn't bought any candy in for this, I just shoved a packet of Russian chokolates I can't stand smiley - winkeye I finally got rid of it!

Well, the show at Waldeman's lasted more than five hours into the night, so luckily my mother let me sleep long tody and don't go to school. It was a very nice show, but horrible fancy food smiley - yuk I hate those things where you can't even pronounce the course and it turns out to be escargos with nutmousse or something... I ate lots of white bread instead, and enjoyed the show. I suddenly realized something; I was at a place I was actually TEN YEARS too young to be at! smiley - wow Woah, what a high! I couldn't see what the big deal was about, there wasn't exactly anything 'adult' with he show, and I've been at places they've served alcohol at before. I'm still pretty proud the bouncers and waiters let me pass into a place with 25 year limit without as much as batting an eyelid. How can I ever top this? smiley - biggrin

I earned my 200 kr for OD yesterday without any problems, too smiley - smiley Except, of course, when I was raking the leaves I was anoyed that there still was so much leaves left on the trees, ready to fall excactly when I was done with the job, so I turned a few heads in the neighbourhood when I viciously started beating the tree with my rake smiley - biggrin That'll scare away those small kids that loves to wake me up in the morning by throwing snowballs at my window smiley - devil

Hm, that Mr Coe sounds like a very special teacher smiley - winkeye I myself haven't had a real conversation that lasted beyond two words with a teacher for about a week now smiley - erm

Well, my mother demands I clean the house now... I'll try not to get attacked by anything again smiley - winkeye

We only had a few trick or treaters so I was rather disapointed smiley - blue I didn't have a chance to scare any kids by ansering the door holding a knife covered in tomato ketchup like I usually do. Ahh well, can't have everything..

What do you mean when you say 'special' teacher smiley - cross I don't want you to think there's anything going on between us.. *sigh*

Have I told you!? smiley - wah They have kicked Angus Deayton off Have I Got News For You!!! After more stories emerging about his escapades with prostitutes and drug taking etc, the bbc decided that it would be best if he found employment elsewhere! You have to join my campaign to get him back to our screens! It's urgent! smiley - yikes Next week Anne Robinson is going to present it, this is a national emergency!! Please help!

Got to go, my teacher is making her way over here to check we are doing our work.. and oddly enough, I'm not smiley - devil

Currently listening to: My stomach growling smiley - erm Why does my mother have to take so long for shopping food?

Your likeness to Barbie? Hm, that sounded interesting smiley - winkeye I wish someone could do that with me...

Shh, calm down now; By 'special' teacher I meant a teacher that isn't dumbwitted, pathetic, or otherwise just sad. I just think such are very hard to come by, and if we see one of them (Prof. Petter, Mr Coe) we should just hang on for dear life smiley - bigeyes BTW, you used to to be certain there was something between me and the Professor even before I knew smiley - winkeye I could say you planted the idea in my head...

Angus Deayton for Have I Got News For You!! Bring back Angus!! Gimme a D! Gimme a E! ... Ah, you get the point... Okay, I have never seen him in my life, but if you feel so strongly about it I might as well join in on your outcry. If any of the three hosts of "News On News" should be sacked, I know I wouldnt't be silent smiley - bigeyes *Starts waving a red banner and sings* "Do you hear the people sing, singing the song of angry men? It is the music of a people..." smiley - musicalnote And I honestly feel just a little meddling with drugs and prostitutes is a valid reason for sacking anyone intellectual that are capable of doing his job. Just look at Jerry Springer...

Daniel is staying over for the weekend, he's brought THE biggest present for Tine, but she can't open it yet smiley - doh I'm dying of curiosity! It's very oddly shaped, about like a Wolkswagen Beetle, it reaches me to the knees, and he says it can easily break... Any ideas what it might be?

I'm going to complain loudly about the absent dinner for my father now. Please excuse me smiley - bigeyes

Well if you go to http://www.barbie.com and go on the US site not the UK one you should be able to make yourself a friend of Barbie Tm.
I made one and here's a little quote from my friend of Barbie Tm that I made: "When she's not busy practicing law, Nate listens to music and watches movies. She lives in a condo with her fish, and she loves pigging out on sushi! Nate can't wait to be your new best friend." smiley - erm

"It's very oddly shaped, about like a Volkswagen Beetle, it reaches me to the knees, and he says it can easily break..."
Hmmm... could it be.. a midgets Volkswagen Beetle? Uhm, a small model of a Volkswagen beetle? Uhm, a very large box of chocolates in a box shaped like a Volkswagen Beetle? Oh I give up.. smiley - headhurts

smiley - towel We Want Angus! We Want Angus! I'm not going to let this go. I've even started a campaign amongst my intelligent friends (IE. Those who watch 'Have I Got News For You' smiley - winkeye)

Currently listening to: "The Vampire Express" on the TV, part of the Halloween weekend smiley - erm Ugh, I hate those kids' horror movies...

I'm just back after seeing News on News, I'm still laughing *Wipes tear from eye* smiley - biggrin This time they all started throwing pens at each other. Ah, political satire...

Hm, I seemed to have a little more fun at that Barbie website than wanted to smiley - blush It's a bit embarassing, after I clearly stated I was through with such plastic perfect dolls... Well, I had very few Barbie dolls when I was young, and I rarely played with them. I had a few cheap spinoffs I could cut the hair off, and I had a pink sportscar, but that was about it. Strangely enough I preferred climbing in trees, an activity I wouldn't dream of at my current age... Strange how you change so much as you grow up. I even hated reading when I was 7 or 8. I better stop before I start singing 'Sunrise Sunset' smiley - silly

Well, Tine was finally permitted to open the present, and strangely enough, it wasn't a Volkswagen Beetle smiley - wow The strange form was because there was several things in there! There was one big heart-shaped velvet cushion saying "Happy 18th" (very cute, but you wouldn't see anything like that in my room smiley - winkeye ), one framed sheet with (very good) drawings of teddybears and the "Teddy Bear's Rules of Conduct". Very cute, that one too, and Daniel is very good at drawing. And finally, a huge teddy bear also made by Daniel. It reaches me up to the knees and is very cute and cuddly, but I still feel it's proportions are all wrong. But that's just one teddy bear-maker to another smiley - silly

I'm awfully tired now smiley - zzz And tomorrow Tine is bringing all her friends over to have a real kid's party (finger painting, kite flying, you name it) and I don't want to meet that bunch unprepared smiley - devil

Well I'm SO glad that your political satirical show is doing so well smiley - cross Ours was a poor substitute last night, Merton was more annoying than usual and wouldn't stop berating Angus. And next week we have Anne Robinson, I bet all 'Have I Got News For You's Welsh fans are wetting themselves with anticipation.. do you know that whole thing about Anne Robinson and Wales? Stupid woman, I can't even think about her without getting a migrane smiley - headhurts

So did you make your own Barbie in the end? smiley - tongueout I made her like myself as best as I could:
SHE WEARS: Cargo-a-go-go
- Pastel print cardigan sweater over white knit T-shirt with decal
- Indigo blue denim jeans with belt
- Navy blue boots
- Pearl white earrings and hand ring
(Ok, I don't wear pearl earrings and navy boots but they didn't have a t-shirt and trousers option)
Here's her profile:
Tilly, meet Nate! Nate is a friend of Barbie(R) doll and everything from her eyes to her , hair was chosen by Nate! Nate has a wonderful sense of humor and loves dressing in baggy clothes! Nate is a student with a great love for movies. When she's not busy drawing, Nate listens to music and watches movies. She lives in a small town with her parents, and she loves pigging out on chocolate! Nate can't wait to be your new best friend. That's why she comes with lots of love and good wishes just for you!

Hmmmm, that end part is just way too sad even for me.. smiley - erm

As a kid I used to play with Barbies more than I'd care to admit. But I never did all that rubbish with fashion shows and Happy Families smiley - yuk I used to make them do interesting, extremely stupid things which suited me just fine. I'd make them have torrid love affairs with each other, only to be found out and have an arm or leg chopped off by Ken in a fit of lustful jealousy. I swear, I could write soap operas!! smiley - silly

What sweet thoughtful presents, I'd have prefered a Volkswagen Beetle box of chocolates but there ya go. Thats just me being my exceptionally weird and odd self smiley - weird

Whhaat?! Finger painting, kite flying?! Oh my, you know what's going to happen don't you? They are all going to start regressing and act like children smiley - erm Poor you, I hope you have all the necessary equipent to deal with such events.. ie: Stun gun, drugged chocolate, story book etc

Well my Mums out and I have the house to myself. So please exscuse me while I go and arrange a wild party smiley - winkeye

Currently listening to: My mother furiously baking cakes, if there is such a thing smiley - silly

I seemed to mix the dates; Tomorrow is when Tine is having her friends over, and today is the grown-ups party. I'm dressed up in white trousers (you couldn't get a skirt on me if you drugged me), white t-shirt, and white jacket. I forced my mother off me when she wanted to tie ribbons in my hair...

Coldplay? smiley - flustered Sorry, but as of yet I still haven't find any of the songs capable to grow on me...

Well, it seems like that oh so sugary Barbie website won't let me use that particular game smiley - erm They're plotting to get me, I know. This this is payback for never playing with the dolls when I was little. One day I'm going to find a chopped off doll head under my bedsheets, I swear...

Oh, that reminds me; Norway is getting more violent, I've found out. First, an earlier classmate of Tine disappeared last summer, and they've just found her body in the forest next to where I used to live. The scary thing is, that nothing criminal seems to have happened to her, yet the area was already ruled off by the police... And some days ago, someone just next to where I live found a decapitated sheep's head with a butcher's knife stuck in its forehead in his car... It all looks like bad storylines for B horror movies...

Well, don't think I can avoid the party of hyper kids and chuckling aunts any longer. I might as well join and later chew my arm off smiley - groan

~~~RANT OF THE DAY~~~
~~~SUBJECT: Radio stations and their ability to make me want to stick pins through my eardrums~~~

Funny that Coldplay have only grown on me quite recently. I guess it's because I'm a recent convert to Virgin Radio. Jazz fm has completely lost me.
I still love jazz but I'm yet to find a jazz radio station which doesn't play that awful elevator type music smiley - yuk The sort of stuff you hear in the Doctors waiting room. That's all they seem to play on the radio station nowadays.
So I've switched to Virgin, where they solved the problem of playing bad music by not playing any smiley - cross It's quite annoying that most radio stations spend half their on-air time advertising and reading out e-mails. Occasionally they might play a song (usually The Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Cold Play or Puddle of Mudd's 'She Hates Me') but they then play the same song over and over throughout the day.
Even Virgin Radio, who boast about their No Repeat 9-5, play 'She Hates Me' at least 20 times a day.
I wake up to hear it blaring out of my alarm clock, when I switch it on while eating lunch it's playing, when I'm going to bed it's playing and last night I switched it on at 3 in the morning to see, and yes. They were playing Puddle of Mudd 'She Hates Me' smiley - grr
If you have ever had the misfortune to listen to Virgin Radio in the evening online, you will know that they have Jezza's Virgin Confessions. Which was amusing the first time, bearable the second time, and now it makes me want to hurt everyone in sight.
If you think you are tough enough try listening to it without getting a migrane (I seem to get them an awful lot these days..) go to:
http://www.virginradio.co.uk/djsshows/shows/pg/index.html
The Pete and Geoff show is amusing, I like the game where they ask kids under the age of 11 questions such as: If the enconomic value of greenland increases by 79.89th of a fraction, would the price of raindeer fluctuate by
a) one tenth of a 78th
b)56th of a 56th
Ok, I made that one up. But they ask somthing like it, but the kids always have a 50% chance of getting it right. It's really funny, well worth listening to smiley - laugh

Ok, I'm done..

A sheeps head you say? smiley - wow Oooh! This could be interesting, does anyone have a grudge against the person who found it? Does he have any vendettas? Is he a member of the mafia? Has he displeased the mafia in any way shape or form? Has he joined a nefarious cult recently? Has he had any run-ins with Satanists? Has he got a crazy member of the family that wants him dead? Is he a vet? If so, is he a good vet? Does he know any suicidal sheep that have keys to his car?
I'm sorry about that poor girl.. there was me thinking that Norway was the land of happy faces and neutral attidues smiley - yikes

Poor you, crazy aunts and crazy kids. My heart bleeds, I know just how painful it is to cope. Just think happy thoughts.smiley - hug When I'm trying to survive a particulary stupid conversation, I find that listening to a peice of classical music mentally helps. May I recomend Beethoven, Für Elise? I find it's very soothing especially when they keep on calling me Nina. As soon as they mistake me for her and ask me when I'm due (she's pregnant apparantly) I just switch off, my eyes glaze over and a smile spreads across my face. It's very pleasant really.
smiley - chef Also, if you are bent on chewing your arm off.. may I suggest you marinade it in lime juice pepper corns, sea salt and then lighly grill it for about 20 minutes on a low heat. Delicious smiley - winkeye

I'd better go, 'She Hates Me' has just come on and I'm going to throw the radio in the fire..

Currently listening to: The pounding of my head smiley - headhurts

Urgh! Why is family so tiresome? smiley - groan I love them all, but all at once can be sooo exhausting. My aunts are just repeating the same phrases over and over ("Oh dear, how you've grown." "Could you pour me another cup of coffee?" "Oh dear, how you've grown.") Little Martine is bothering the cat (wich Trude appologies with "Well, if the cat didn't appreciate it, it would bite her, right?" Even though I've told her Missy is too shy to hurt anyone who isn't close family smiley - bruised) and although she can't help it, little one year-old Maja is destined to be a drummer. Anything she can get hold of, she bangs repeatedly in the floor (including my glasses smiley - bigeyes) I can only say; Thank God they're gone!

I gave up radio long ago, now I only listen to it if it's on in the old Ford Sierra where there is no CD player. I've found that either you listen to your old albums, or you listen to shitty music. I decide the old , familiar albums any day smiley - bigeyes

Well, if I can remember the sheep's head case correctly, I think the owner of the car didn't have a clue of why it happened and it seriously scared the willies out of him. He is under police protection at the time. I know there's a big gang in the area (that's probably what this town, Lørenskog, is most famous of), the B-Gang, but they have been awfully quiet lately... And there is Russian mafia in Oslo, but they haven't been up for questioning either. Actually no of the papers have even brought their names up, I'm just doing this from my own knowledge...

Well, I better go, there's officially... one hour before it's anything remotely entertaining to watch smiley - erm We've been watching bad Norwegian sitcoms from the 80s for hours now... I think there's some Tom Cruise on later.

It has yet to be proven that intelligence has any survival value.

So far as I can remember, there is not one word in the Gospels in praise of intelligence.

Currently listening to: my Mum and Dad watching some history programme. My god, this is so boring.. I'm just going to switch off and listen to classical music mentally again smiley - silly Ahh bliss..

smiley - laugh I just had this mental picture of a demented two yearold banging your cat on the floor smiley - laugh
Yes, Family. smiley - yuk I can't stand to be anywhere near my family, they don't even have an idea who I am half the time. It's enough to make me sick. It's not like I'm easy to forget, I am the only natural fair haired girl in the family, and I am a foot taller than everyone else.

Russian mafia in Oslo? smiley - erm What part of that sentence didn't make sense? I'm guessing that they did it. The whole decapitated mammal head seems to ring a bell when in connection to the Mafia smiley - winkeye

I was watching a programme about 'Real life Vampires' the other night. smiley - laugh My god! I have never laughed so much in my entire life! It was an American 'documentary' (if you can call it such) which was, I presume, hosted by an ex-athelete with a serious voice. They made these Vampires out to be freaks and sick perverts, they said that this was an underground sub culture which was top secret smiley - vampire I couldn't believe that Americans thought this was true and that all of it going on! It was terrible.. funny, but very inaccurate...

I've got to go, my Dad's rushing me off the computer. He wants to order these Cd's for me and then go to bed.. smiley - yawn Night..

Currently listening to: Some brainless action movie with Arnold Schwarzenegger. Hm, it's always much more fun to spell that name than actually watch him act. Is there anyone with a more wooden, stiff acting technique than him at work?

The 'children' party today went pretty well. We first had some games outside (balancing a tennisball on a tennis racket while on the swingset), then we all was awarded with a chokolate Kinder-egg each, then we had charades, after that we played "Murderer and detective" (I got to be the murderer smiley - devil) and then we played Twister, and then... and then... Well, we did something equally silly and childish. In the end we all ate cake, Tine opened her presents, one of which was a big art book about Kama Sutra paintings, bought to her like a joke from her friend (she still blushed quite a bit since mum and dad was in the room though smiley - laugh) and then all the girls went upstairs to converse about each others love life. I left the patry after a bit of that, mostly because I my love life doesn't exist as of yet. Outside my mind, anyway smiley - winkeye

Exactly, Russian mafia smiley - winkeye I haven't encountered any of them, but I do know about some of their activities and sketchily where they are to be found. It's not exactly like the Godfather smiley - silly

Oh yes, I've seen some of thse programmes. How pathetic! smiley - laugh There was something about that on the Ricky Lake chat show recently, and I had a good laugh watching it. "Excuse me Ricky, but Vanessa in the orange chair is sucking out my soul." smiley - vampire They're just too Hollywood. I've said it before and I'm saying it again; In a world like this, something is bound to snap here and there...

Rrgh, I'm a nervewreck smiley - headhurts The E-bay action I've offered on closes in 6 hours, and I have to go to bed soon. I got the leading bid currently, but there may be some asshole who will jump right on seconds before it close. I've lost too many goodies that way smiley - erm *Starts chewing on the already worn-down nails*

I've coloured my hair again though. Nothing drastic, just redyed the black which was about to be washed off. This time I used a bit blue-tinted version of black, since I think that makes it look a bit more darker smiley - bigeyes Each time I discuss hairdye with my classmates, they always bring up some example where they complain about someone who hasn't got a 'natural-looking' colour, but they immideately stop speaking when they turn around and see me. I'm fully aware the colour doesn't look natural. It isn't supposed to be, why can't they understand that? smiley - flustered I'm very pale, and if I had my natural blonde colour I think I would look even more ridiculous. I'd be a white ghost, seriously. And everyone can have natural looking hair, but I think it can be very fascinating with things that look, let's say, fake smiley - silly I happen to like this overdone, black-bluish colour. Looks a bit Black Celtish, I think, it frames my face. I'm thinking a bit Cyd Charisse in Singin' in the Rain (that movie seems to be mentioned and rementioned here. I think I'm partly responsible smiley - biggrin)
http://us.f1.yahoofs.com/users/a71e7eee/bc/GKMediaBox/Singin%27InTheRainwithCyd.mpg?BC8kZx9AyLWBEQtL

Well, rant over smiley - smiley I'm going to scrub my ears and forehead now to get off all the spilt dye...

Toodles!

When in doubt, tell the truth.
-Mark Twain (1835 - 1910)

Currently listening to: my teacher fondly remembering the good old days, when kids feared them and the teachers could hit em if they didn't smiley - biggrin

If you didn't notice, todays quote was about honesty. Honesty is the best policy as my Mum always says.. bull sh*t. Today I made the mistake of telling the truth to a teacher and now half the class are howling for my blood smiley - yikes I'm either going to get beaten up or bad mouthed, the latter seems more likely as I am twice their size. I'd rather it was the first now that I think about it, at least the pain (if there was any) would be momentarily whereas nasty comments and bitchy remarks last longer smiley - blue You know what girls are like, nasty evil things. They must be stopped..

Last night I realised that I was missing a vital peice of work, I was so totally behind that for the first time in my young life, I had to pull an all-nighter smiley - zzz I haven't slept in 2 days now, I'm almost dead on my feet. My eyes just want to close, they keep on blurring up and I can't see more than a few feet in front of me (you can imagine me with my face pressed up against the computer screen, nose smudging the glass smiley - smiley) I NEVER EVER want to have to do that EVER again. I guess I'll be able to make it, we have English after lunch, and Mr Coe promised to bring in that book he keeps on going on about. Things are looking up.. smiley - winkeye

Sounds like you had fun. I can't even start to think about my Birthday smiley - headhurts It's looming up, only.. 2 and a bit months to go. Thats two months and a bit too soon. I hate my Birthday, mines too close to Christmas and New Year. Ugh, I don't even want to think about it. I'm getting another headache..

In Pe I got thinking.. I was waiting my turn and had nobody intelligent to talk to.. that I am not a girl, but a gay man trapped inside a womans body smiley - erm This is why I shouldn't be allowed to think. It's a rather accurate observation might I add. I thought it summed me up pretty well.. Yes, I am delirious with hunger. I'd better go and have my lunch

Currently listening to: "People Are Strange" with Michael Ball smiley - loveblush I had totally forgotten how much I like this song smiley - biggrin Oh, now it's at that cool big band bridge (Hm, try saying that fast three times)

Hm, what did you say that your class reacted so badly at? I know a lot of people that react such to the just minor criticism, even though it's "I think you criticise me too much" smiley - erm Like now, when we got back the judgement of the short movies we had made, and we obviously did astonishingly good:
smiley - geek Planning (storyboard/manuscript) : 5 out of 6
smiley - geek Filming, directing, clipping, acting : 5 out of 6
smiley - geek Work logg : 5 out of 6
smiley - geek Finished result : 4 out of 6

I couldn't dream of better grades, since 5 / 6 is considered God-like at school, and I was overwhelmed over it. But they keep on bitching about that 4 / 6, which really isn't considered too bad either smiley - erm They are positive it's my fault, although they won't spesify why smiley - cross God, get over it...

Well, I'll stop ranting over my grades. I won the E-bay auction, you know smiley - biggrin No bastard tried to jump in with a big seconds before it closed, and now the VHS is mine to only... $60, ehehee smiley - erm Okay, the prize isn't exactly small, but darnit, everybody says I gotta see this movie. Ho hum smiley - bigeyes

I'm going to curl up in the sofa with some nice cocoa now - we got off form school early. And then I have to start rehearsing my Commedia Dell'Arte project which is due tomorrow smiley - groan

Currently listening to: Me trying to think of a plausable exscuse as to why I didn't do my Science homework. I'm still totally whacked out. It's taken me three cups of coffee to get me to stay awake so far, I guess this means an early night smiley - yawn I doubt I'll get to sleep anyway.. ah yes, that reminds me

Happy Bonfire Night! I shouldn't really be celebrating. You see... smiley - musicalnote "I'm a Roman Catholic, and I have been since before I were born..." smiley - musicalnote So it wouldn't be right for me to celebrate it, after all, Guy Fawkes was doing it for the good of the country. Oh, and I'm not a ROMAN Catholic. I have my own special Catholic religion, I'm Ukrainian Catholic. Please don't ask what the difference is, I've millions of people ask me that today. I always end up explaining to people every Bonfire Night and every Easter. They all go "Aaaaaah!" and then forget so I have to tell them again smiley - groan
The people round here have been letting fireworks off since October. I don't see any point in forking out a large wad of cash just for a few seconds worth of small explosions. You want explosions?! I can blow somthing up for half the price of a box of fireworks.. smiley - weird

Hey well done! That's a really good mark, I'd have probably got 0/6 each time.
"Hmm, Natalie can I speak to you for a minute"
"Yeah, sure"
"I can't help but get the feeling I've seen this all before.."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, your storyline.. Dr Jannibal Specter is a cannibal right? He falls in love with a young FBI agent, and helps her catch a serial killer.. isn't it a bit.. similar to a book by Thomas Harris?"

What I did was really not that bad, but now half (ok, a quarter) of the class spit at me when I pass them in the halls. Now I think about it, what I did was really very childish, but I wasn't in a good mood and Lauren was getting on my nerves.
She was drawing stupid pictures of me and ON me, she found a pen and proceeded to draw vivid geometric patterns on my shoulder in blue biro. I
I sort of.. snitched on her, went and told the teacher to be precise.
Hooo boy! Did she squirm! The teacher was shouting at her and she got into heaps of trouble smiley - devil
Aaanyway, word got out that I told (Yes, we all seem to be regressing back to what we were like as Kids) and now all her 'friends' hate me. I couldn't give a toss. No matter what they said to me I wouldn't apologise.
They tried making me look bad, I admitted it and made myself look even worse on purpose. They were a bit confused as to why I was deliberately making myself look like a bitch. They now have nothing to do so they're not bothering trying to make me look bad smiley - biggrin
Haha! I don't have a reputation, but if I'm going to get one it might as well be one that I made up smiley - silly Did any of that make sense?

Well well well! smiley - biggrin Guess what? It's Work Experience week coming up soon! We get to spend a week in the job of our choice (so long as they are willing to take us and it's within 30 miles from the school)
If we are applying for it through the teacher we have to apply for it like it's a real job application and so forth.
So I'm going to have to pick out a suitable career.. any ideas smiley - erm?
I asked if she had any places at a Police Station but the teacher said that they normally don't offer to look after students, so that's out of the window. I also asked if she had any places in a hospital but she said that a lot of girls would apply for them so I shouldn't get my hopes up.
So, it's back to you. What can you see me doing? Besides stand-up comedian of course smiley - winkeye

Hey good luck with your Commedia Dell'Arte project smiley - ok I'm sure you'll do well, I'm sure you won't screw it up. And if you do then what the hey, I still know you're intelligent. That's the closest you're ever going to get to me complimenting you so enjoy it while it lasts.. smiley - tongueout

Currently listening to: A really pathetic Norwegian hypnosis TV programme smiley - bigeyes Now there's a guy who gets more and more drunk as the audience applauds. Look, he's fallen off the stage now smiley - erm I would really like to believe that programme, but sometimes it seems so fake. I had much more belief in McKenna...

Hm, you seems to be tossing celebrations all over the place, don't you? smiley - bigeyes Bonfire Night is yet another thing we don't celebrate. Suddenly Norway seems so cultural impoverished... Quick, I gotta check the calendar for which dates has been marked! Let's see... Soccer match, weights VM, soccer, some royal birthdays... Oh! Father's day this Sunday - gotta find my dad's a present. Where am I going to buy the tie this year? smiley - laugh

Ah yes, I've had the whole cast-out-of-community-caused-by--snitching routine before, and in the end it wasn't I who did anything wrong, it was how wrongly people reacted smiley - erm I still think some people think of me as an annoying little goody two-shoes...

Yay! The school variety is coming up! smiley - wow Actually, each year the tenth graders makes two big shows around Christmas time, a circus and a variety - not hard guessing which one I got accepted into smiley - winkeye We've got some weeks with bone hard work, making numbers, sowing costumes, making sets and props, finding a location, putting the show together... It's gonna beso much fun! smiley - biggrin Of course I've already signed up on all too much work. I have to write about 5 sketches, work in one dance number, one singing numbers, act in several sketches, and my teacher pushed me into accepting trumpet-playing jobs, like a fanfare starting up the show... I just sat there and the words "What just happened?" escaped form my trembling lips smiley - tongueout I can't wait!

Oh, we had that whole Work Experience week last year smiley - tongueout I had some serious trouble finding jobs, since the whole school had started early and I was juuust a little too late smiley - tongueout Every job in a mile's radius was taken, and it didn't help a lot of workplaces had promised me a job and then when I returned the day beofore they sayd "Nah, the job's taken" smiley - steam That's why I have stopped shopping at the Cartoon Network Boutique... In the end I got to work at my mother's place, which was much more fun than I had expected. It was a whole new experience eating lunch with guys who didn't think making farting noises was the peak of culture smiley - erm
There was one day, though, I was home sick, and I got a telephone from my mother saying, "There's a grown man here saying he's your professor. Shall I believe him or have you've been chatting with disconcerting people on the internet?" And that was the first time my mother met Prof. Petter smiley - laugh Such a kodak moment...

Well, all I can tips you on about that Work week is be early! Don't be like me and wait until some days before you have to work... And get that contract signed by your emplyer as soon as possible, so they don't change their minds.

I'm going to pack my backpack for tomorrow and then I'm going to watch 'CSI' smiley - tongueout Let's see, Pedrolino costume (I shocked quite a few classmates when I told them I would be dressed as a clown for the presentation), slapstick (made one with planks and rubber bands), discette with PowerPoint presentation, notes, inflatable ego... I'm ready for 'em!

Toodles! smiley - ok

Woah woah woah?! Hang on a minute! Fathers Day is this Saturday?! I seem to have missed out on somthing here?! You're joking right? Please tell me you are joking.. cummon, you wouldn't joke with me old chum eh smiley - erm We seem to be on a completely differenttime scale, I'm 99% sure that Fathers Day is in June or July over here.

Ugh, I hate you right now. All you seem to do is have fun at that school, whereas all I ever seem to do is work. smiley - cross It's quite depressing. Thats it, I've made a decision I'm moving to your school, there's nothing for it. It's either that or I loose my mind.

I AM going mad! The Fireworks have been going off all night, I was ok about it before but now I'm on the verge of insanity. They seem to be going off without stopping all making one continuous loud noise, it's hardly theraputic when you haven't slept in two days smiley - grr

I'd better go and try to get some sleep. I don't think I'm going to be getting much sleep so I may as well try and get an early start. Well at least my Dad isn't in so he won't be running up and down the stairs while I try to fall asleep smiley - biggrin
