I did the traditional rain dance of my tribe backwards and thus earned myself a couple of hours dry weather. Enough to walk 8266 steps smiley - biggrin

Well done on the steps.. with the 2 phone apts this morning, the injection and bloods this afternoon, only got 4000 steps. Was too tired to make the pub after dinner..
But, gym tomorrow! the nurse who tested me at the hospital gym did say she hadnt seen a patient ever reach level 5 resistance before.. I got to level 5 quite easily smiley - blush will be hard at gym to restrict my exercise intensity.. but I'll try smiley - zensmiley - angel

I should be able to reach the 4200 average today or tomorrow as the weather appears to be okay. It would demand something like 5000 steps on top of the daily 4200

My optician was satisfied with my left eye yesterday. The right is not worth mentioning. Never has been

Don't overdo it at the gym. It might come back and bite you

Congratulations with your birthday last week. Good to hear you are doing fine after that surgery. How many candles did you blow out?

Daily step count is kind of tricky for me right now, because my smartwatch died a week ago. Keeping track of steps in your head is a bit cumbersome. My daily target is 10000, with a lower limit of 8500 for a pass. All time highscore is over 45000 a day.

I did it! Just walked 10,274 steps which brings me up to a daily average of 4,203 since 17 November last year.

Add to that the approximately 350 kilometers I cycled since 14 April. Admittedly, most of these with help from an electric motor, but it provided fresh air and movement at least. I have tried cycling over 40 kilometers without a motor once, but e-bikes are heavy, so I allow myself to compensate by using as little assistance as possible.

Not as unfit as I thought, after 6 weeks off, but I expect to ache tomorrow smiley - laugh

Now, man, not lets get carried away.. the entire blame culture is well established.. however, I dont believe that positive blames are inhibited by any relivant local bilores.. smiley - silly not much walking today, about 5000 steps, but did include a trip to the pub smiley - ale I was achy after the gym, but less than I expected smiley - zen

Today is International Men's Day. I mark it by (on my own initiative!) driving two lovely ladies over to see a third lovely lady's paintings etc. (at a Christmas fair of all places! smiley - rolleyes )
After all one has to lead by example and be a role model for other men and especially boys smiley - angel

Wit a bit of luck I will be able to take a walk in the park around the old castle near the fair smiley - holly

The trick is to spread that vibe around the year. I've heard someone claiming there is only one mother's day and 364 father's days. This is defiitely not the case in our household. I drive around anyone without gender prejudice if needed.

47? Same as me , but only today. Tomorrow I will celebrate 30 years of being 18. (or my 17531st birthday in daycount)

2nd day back at gym today, 25 mins on the eliptical. Cooldown with stretching and calf raises.
But we did 9500 steps before gym, walking round the local streets, demonstrating the inaccessability of pavements covered in cars, bins and bikes etc, to a local group hastling the council on such matters..
Got free lamb from butchur, as it needed to be cooked today, and he didnt want it going to waste.. I made lamb stew tonight, very tasty, and plenty left for tomorrow too..

We also regularly get too-good-to-go stuff from our local supermarket.
As long as we put meat in the freezer right away it usually makes do for a few meals without spending a fortune. We can choose between Bakery, Surprise and Vegetarian packages. My experience is that if vegeterians do not buy it right away, it is usually inedible to me. The other two types are generally fine.

Carrots and other roots can last surprisingly long if treated well

Once this diet is over lamb will definitely be one of the first items on my menu! smiley - drool

Had lost 16 kilos Monday morning. Should be able to lose 2 more the next two weeks

I am late for my daily walk so hasta la bye bye and take care of yourself

Well done loosing all that weight! The key after restrictions is to keep portion sizes down, especially of more calory dense foods.. I counter this by adding more veg, lentil, grains etc.. smiley - zen lunch today was bulgar pilaff, of mushroom, onion, garlic and baked cauliflower.. lamb stew again for dinner..

Walked nearly 6 mile over 3 walks, 13400 steps.. gym tomorrow..
