So what was that comment about growing up in Yorkshire you made in Gosho's Fan Club about. Was it a boring backwater kind of town and do you go back there to visit relatives for the holidays?

It was rather a nice place actually, but I don't have any relatives up there and I haven't revisited the place for twenty years. I really ought to go up there again, though.
In case you don't know, the natives of Yorkshire are noticed for a certain disinclination to be parted with their money, hence my comments over there...

At one time, my relatives tried to start
a tradition of eating a plum pudding flambe
at Christmas. However, the first time we tried
it, the centerpiece caught on fire. 
We weren't too eager to try that again.

I've never really been fond of Yorkshire Pudding - it's only a lump of batter, after all.
As it happens, Paul, it's never been a tradition in my family to set light to the Christmas Pud - we'd rather save the brandy to drink later than burn it!
