It's scary to think you might have got caught in the fire, I can't believe the damage it did as well! There is not much left of that building.

Hope you're doing good, I haven't been feeling that great today, I'm not sure if it's the heat getting to me or what, but I've been feeling sick and getting headaches.

my hayfever as been playing me up agin today, my nose is a bit blocked, and i have a mild headache at the moment.

I hope you're hayfever is better, we had a really big thunder strom last night, the thunder woke me up, at first I wondered what was going on lol coz I heard a massive bang but then it poured down and more thunder. It cleared the air a bit as it is not as humid as yesterday but still very hot today!

It's the end of the hot weather today, it's pouring with rain but it was really humid, so at least it has cleared the air, it's been really hard to sleep.

its been raining here all day as well.

ive been hoping the potatoe man comes today, then i can pay him what i owe, or it will get to far ahead of me.

i will be in town torrow sat, i have to get the irish lotto, and then ovr to the library to see what i can get,hopefully before 1901 cencus, with only the last name its always tricky.

if the three are the ones, depending what from the three are before 1901, or if i can acsess a free 1911, only came out this year,they only appear for a ten year period, after 100 yrs.

any not under the 1901 or if lucky 1911, you would have to get a copy of the cert or cert,

I've just been into town today to pay some bills, the weather keeps changing every five mins lol! One minute it is sunny the next it is raining, so I wish it would just pick one lol!

once you can get at least one cert, hopefully the name of the father and mother will be on, and where they lived at the time.

it was sunny here when i set off, then just as i got in the cyber,the heavens opened,

then as i set off back down town i was caught again, so i decided to call it a day, and went for the bus, and left the library for another day.

im out tomz, but helping a mate to find something for his kitchen cupboards to spruce them up.

Hi we went ot Carlisle yesterday, my son needed some new clothes and the shops here are a bit crap at the mo, so we decided to go there, they have much better shops than here and he got quite alot of new stuff. I also needed to get something for my mums birthday. My son is off school now till Sept 8th so just trying to keep him occupied.

i cant afford new, unless its socks, underpants and a top coat, the rest is fron a charity shop as needed.

i have a matalan and primarks nearby, and the two main markets that sell everything.

its just cost me £7-50p to get the special seg heals on my shoes, i wear into the middle,the way i walk .

rats my ex lodger was supposed come last night, to clear the loft, the housing as to strip it back and start again, to much insulation, lecy wire onto of insu,on in between. a fire hazzard. why me jim xx

Well I always wear my shoes down from the outside in so I must walk on the outside of my foot, I must be a bit lopsided lol!

I hope you get the loft sorted, they should have done the job properly in the first place! Then they wouldn't have to come back and do it again.

ive had a better weekend than i have for a while, my nose as cleared a lot for now.

i never win with anything thats done to the house.
-
when they first added the new insulation, the roof was off.and a new one being put on.
-
so the one that laid the insul,could have pushed it to the edges, but no, didnt even roll it out properly.
-
since then the whole of the house as been done up, new wiring, so in the loft they went again.
-
they moved things around leaving the loft even worse, and still didnt roll the ones out they where supposed to do.
-
its the cyber in about hr and half, the suns out, could be the days about to brighten up.

It's sounds like they have done a really bad job! Is there anyone you can complain to? because I think you should. If they can't do the job properly then they shouldn't have done it at all.


The sun is out here today, we had a big thunder and lightening storm last night. I'm just about to see my mum for a bit.

Hope they come back to sort your loft out porperly this time!

complain, ive done nothing but complain to them for one thing or another, broken firesuround tiles, hey had to put i another rad on the landing, missed off first time.

they managed to pull down half the wall near the door, putting in a new door. had to be rebuilt over two days.

the wiring to the disabled shower had been put on the inside of the show, so moved to the outside,then it was made as a pull switch in the shower room

Sounds like a nightmare for you! I can't believe they have done such a rubbish job, it's a joke!

had my bloodpressure and weight done yesterday, both fine the nurse said, im 11-12, the lowest as been 11-00, highest ive weighed in the past 12-00.

its raining, so the pollen is way down, my nose as been better in the last few days.
-
ive still two things the housing asnt sorted even now.

when the radiator was moved in the kitchen, the plumber hit the corner of the fire half,and broke three tiles, and upstairs in the shower, i have 4 holes, patched up in the shower tiles,
-
the lecy man drilled from the back bedrooom into the showeroom, and the same off the landing.
-
its been on a repair order for months, no one as done a thing about either, i gave up ringing them.
-
im going to see a friend at a place called buttershaw, about 6 miles from me if the rain dosent get worse from now 9-30am to 10-20am. take care jim xx

Hi, it's good to hear your blood pressure was fine.

It's been raining here as well, it feels more like autumn! It's pretty cold as well.

I hope eventually to get the repairs done

I've just been into town with my mum.

I have been having problems getting on to the h2g2 site, it kept taking ages to load up, not sure what was going on there but it seems ok today. Might have just been my internet connection but other sites seem to come up ok. Or it might be all the other H2G2 users clogging it up lol!

try this, when you acsess onto a internet page, use the top line dropdown next to favourites.
-
click the internet options, click the delete temp files, when a messages shows, also offline, tick ok.
-
when you acsess a page or site, for each page you enter, you use a temp file, the prosess will give you back the used ones.
-
you can also click the start, go to programmes, then acsessories, then internet tools, and then to disc cleanup. this will check the c files, and when you get the box with what you have used, just tick, ok, and the files will be usable again.
-
to see what space you have to start thats free, click my computer on desktop.

then i think you right doubleclick the c drive,

if you want to know the specs of the pc,click start, then control panel, then systems, this will show you the details of the pc you have, and what ram memory you have, from 128 usually upto 256 and more.

i went to see the freind and had a nice day out.

the nearest i got to any racing was when i was supposed to be going for three days, staying in a caravan, to silverstone, for the f1 race one year.

but fate stuck a spanner or should i say trailer bracket in the works. it was to light to pull my mates caravan, and snapped in the driveway.
