Okay then, take her to SOMMERFIELDS were they sell REALLY crap smoked salmon! Honestly Pf, it didn't look as though it had been filleted with a very sharp knife, as much as someone had bitten chunks out of it and spat them in the pack

I think that's what they call 'knocking copy'! I shall forward your comments to the appropriate department...

I'm still alive. Nor have I killed her yet, but there are still about 22 hours to go before she leaves....

Phew! We both survived Actually I had rather a good time. No arguments, no real stress, a first visit to the Brighton aquarium (finally after 5 years of living within 10 minutes walk of the place
). Of course she is coming back in a couple of weeks prior to her leaving for home in Canada, so there is plenty of opportunity for sparks to fly

So is Somerfield smoked salmon really that bad? I thought that all farmed salmon for sale in supermarkets was meant to be pretty rank.

I quite like it, actually, but I have no taste...

I always find supermarket salmon to be a fatty and pink lump. I guess I got spoiled once at a young age when I was fed real wild salmon. I can't look at any other now.
Talking of fatty pink lumps. On the TV right now the cop in Reservoir Dogs is getting his ear cut off.
