*searches through cupboards, finds the Uncle Ben's variety normal long grain rice, measures out one cup of rice and two cups of water per person for the absorbtion method and puts it all in a big pot on the aga.*

Stock taking yesterday and today (not that you particularly need stock for Chilli), so not much time for cooking.

Can you cope?

Theres plenty of milk to make a pudding with. but I dont think it will go with chili. here have some nutmeg

yeah, pudding doesnt go with chili at all. maybe the rice could be used just plain

i can make some rice salad to have before the chili or it can be stored in the fridge for another mealtime.
