Hey Whamster
Don't feel rejected by this timing issue.
I make most of my visits during breaks at work, whereas Pinky and Galigan seem to pop in when they can and at least one of them exists in a different timezone (US of A)
Glad you liked the snack!

well i believe pink is from the states but i'm online less now because i am on holiday and i have less access to the internet. i can still come on almost daily though so
actually i was on yesterday and my mum asked me what i was doing and she thought i was being stupid because i was talking to people i don't know in person. i never got that problem in school.

Galigan - I hope you let your mum see the stuff on this site as reassurance that we're all pretty daft in an imaginitive, like-minded sort of way.
At least you've got an excuse, as you seem to be of school age from your comments there. But what would she think of me as a 41-year old Purchasing Manager?
My partner can't see the point either - but then she doesn't like computers (thinks they're time-wasters).
I must say that I have found nothing on this site which is unsuitable for the younger mind - it all seems pretty well moderated by the members as well as by the good old BBC.
Pinky - I guess you're between 5 and 7 hours behind us, depending on which side of the US you may be (not prying). I have suppliers in various states (e.g. TX, MI, NJ) who I can't talk to until late afternoon.
That'll be why that chilli took a while to get made.

2 days since anyone was here? must be my turn to wash up then!
I have brought some ingredients for a scrumy dish my Mum used to make years ago.
Are you ready for a dish called Panackalty?
INGREDIENTS:
Sausage,lots of links.
Corned Beef,sliced not tinned
Bacon,cut into small pieces.
Onion,sliced quite fine.
Potato,cut very thin
Liver, but only if you enjoy a strong flavour.
METHOD:
Place Onion,Sausage Bacon, liver in a rosting tin, cover with water and leave on a low light on top of cooker,if you want to add any veg feel free, add 2 stock cubes.
After about an hour add the sliced Potato and simmer for another 20 mins or so.
Only add the Corned Beef about 15 mins before serving as it can vanish without trace otherwise.
Mix some cornflour to thicken,or bisto powder.
Leave as long as you can resist the smell of good home cooking.
Please accept this dish from me to you all, as it took me so long to remember the ingredients I decided to cook it as I went along.
Hope you enjoy.

Keep away until it's cooked,I know it is hard to resist but you must let it simmer for at least an hour, tastes even beter if left longer but eat when you are ready.
Try and catch you all later.

Can I have mine without any corned beef please?
I don't mind a bit of liver for flavour, but corned beef is s' food!

Panackalty is ready,it's in the oven covered with tin foil, make sure it is warmed through properly.
The other dish on the lower shelf is for JT,no Corned Beef.
Happy eating.
