I had a few of them too, and I used to cut the strips out of the paper each day cos the books didn't include all of the strips. I wish I'd kept them
There's one I remember distinctly. Wellington was in bed suffering some sort of malaise and Boot was sitting by the bed, worried. He mused to himself about what to do for a few frames and then said something about there being only one thing for it, upon which he put his head under the covers. The last frame of the strip was a full-frame view of a running Boot, from the front as if being filmed by a camera on a dolly, and with things being thrown at him from behind by an unseen Wellington, with a big smile on his (Boot's) face and a comment about his 'swift and accurate dognosis'
You had to be there

Do you remember the one about Wellington's birthday? When Boot persuaded everyone (through his amazing mental powers) that Wellington wanted sausages for his birthday? That was my favourite when I was a kid.

Though I've taken to reading his name as 'Who the--oh, Gosho' ('Twas 'Oojawha? Gosho' before he changed it again)
