Oh - about worrying about our election. I do, too, but you should know that signs are good.

1. 75,000 people showed up in Washington, DC, the other day for Kamala Harris. That's a really big crowd.

2. Poppy Northcutt (lovely woman, she worked at NASA during the Apollo missions) just posted that she's in line to vote and that there were about 180 people in front of her. That's on a Friday, so it's 'early voting'. Election Day isn't until next Tuesday. 1.4m people have already voted by mail in Pennsylvania. That much early voting means participation is very high. High participation always benefits the more reasonable side, same as it does in your country.

3. Even those wimps in the media are beginning to see the writing on the wall and admit that certain parties in this election make no sense when they talk.

So smiley - zen these signs are encouraging.

Okay! It worked out pretty well, so here goes:

1. Throw a bag of frozen broccoli in boiling water. Boil for 15-20 minutes. Strain through a sieve to get rid of the water.

2. Melt a stick of butter in a deep frying pan. Add a cup of chopped onions and two cups of cubed raw chicken, seasoned to taste. Saute until the chicken is done.

3. Add two cups of chicken broth and the broccoli and simmer for 10 minutes.

4. Run mixture through a blender in short bursts to make a puree. Put it back in the frying pan.

5. MEANWHILE: In a saucepan, mix two tablespoons powdered cream of onion soup, one tin of evaporated milk, and 4-6 slices of processed cheese (or any kind of cheese you like that will melt). Stir over medium heat until you have a sauce. (If you don't have the onion soup mix, use cornstarch or flour and powdered onion.) Pour the cheese sauce over the chicken/broccoli puree, stir, and reheat.

6. Serve plain or over rice. It will feed two generously, with leftovers. smiley - smiley

I have to make sure we're getting lots of vitamins, what with my teeth going out on me. smiley - winkeye Elektra liked it. smiley - chef

I suspect the worry is when (I hope!) he loses. You see, the man's got mental problems, in case nobody's noticed. Part of his problem is that he can never admit to losing anything - probably not even a golf game. Sigh.

So the 'Richard heads', as you call him, will keep being told that he's being cheated. And that's not a good thing. Double sigh.

I don't really care if it upsets them. I just want the rest of America to wake up and smell the coffee - and never, ever again let a bunch of clowns and scam artists get into the government. I want them to install the Democrats - and then start yelling at them to do the right things for Ukraine and Gaza. smiley - zen

smiley - laugh Yep, you've nailed it. A lot of people have problems like that - it's important NOT to put them in public office.

I hope you can see this - it's pretty funny. Background: Saturday Night Live is a satire programme. Kamala Harris went on this weekend and joked with the woman who 'plays' her. Then this man showed up in a sketch, and it's hilarious - nobody can remember his name. And he ran for vice president in 2016!

You aren't allowed - you have to run in your own country. smiley - rofl It's in the Constitution that you have to be born here. (They did that to keep from ending up with somebody from the British Royal Family, no lie. smiley - laugh)

I'm glad we're in synch again, too! But right now, I have to go. So have a good night, and think good thoughts about our election. smiley - hugsmiley - run
