Once again! As I'm sure I've said beforeI wish I'd have had a partner like Elektra

and now...off for food around 10pm onwards

Over the years, when I've gone out drinking "hic"pub/town etc.

(many folk don't know WHEN they've hit their level and will go way over the top etc)

1 of my alarms is:- FOOD So! when I want food at a late time of nightthat's a "stop drinking whisky" time
I would go for a while to "come off the boil" and then have a few more to keep that happy level

Alas! Now I drink at homeFood warning equals time for kip

It was very nice, thanks! An extra-warm day. Didn't do much. We had a nice dinner and chilled with Netflix.

My exiting news is/wasAT least it didn't rain

as for todaywent into town basically to get some cans of diet cola (not saying trade name) less heavy shopping for Thursday's shopping day

We've had our Government budget today:- usual as per for lower class folk (me) give with 1 hand and takeaway with the other
and that means take more than give again...

We had to go grocery shopping today. It's warm - 54F - but it's been raining all day.

Getting out of Walmart took awhile - there was a lady with a very slow mobility chair and another lady with three very fast kids.

We didn't care. We weren't in a hurry. And for once, they had everything that was on our list.

I love shopping

Because I sometimes see "blokes" on their own "with a shopping list" looking all over the store
and think! DON'T they know what they eat and need the wife to tell them ?
and women who stick their trolley across one end of the isle while they look at a shelf etc at the other end of the isle

Yep. Lots of that going on. I insist that we go through everything in order - I hate to run back and forth in the store. (If I've got the cart we get through the store a LOT faster. )

Anyway, I've gotta go now. Since we went shopping we're doing sandwiches, so I'm off.

If some person who is on multiple charges of possible crimes etc ? and can still "stand for a top job" ????

Can that person still stand ? if he becomes "legally" bankrupt ?

Bankruptcy won't disqualify a candidate - but it will make it hard for them to advertise, travel, etc.

The party will be fundraising like mad, but probably won't be able to raise that much cash. And they'll have to fight him to keep him from using the campaign funds to pay off his debts, which is what he usually does.

With no disrespect to all Americans of course, but I think that something needs to be changed in your "constitutional amendment thing ?

I just can not workout ? why a bad person can be allowed to "possibly" lead a democratic country ? (without being a dictator - like putty ) etc

Well, let's see if I can figure it out for someone from a country that doesn't really HAVE a constitution, just a collection of laws'n'such, some of which are still in Latin, I believe...

Let's go look up what the Constitution says about presidential candidates.

Nope. Doesn't say anything else. This was written in 1787 or thereabouts, and it was hot in Philadelphia and they were tired and it never occurred to them that people would start voting for criminals. They were just worried about stray Englishmen.

OUR lot in Parliament, still run the place etc on how the bloody thing first started up (so called stupid traditions)
