Ever thought of taking up flying lessons ? and become a Pilot ?

I really wanted to do that as a kid - but I can't see well enough.

I've flown in them!
I've jumped out of them!
I'd have loved to have piloted one
On a hired flight from Las Vegasme and my 2 mates went over the Hoover dam to the Grand Canyon
I asked the pilot if I could have a "little go"
Knowing the various "steering operations" --- He said! (no need to guess)

I can imagine how eager a pilot was to let somebody else fly his plane over Hoover Dam.

I got to fly in a Ford Trimotor once - very old plane, it was cool.

It was a 4 seater Cessna type plane

I didn't have the "muppet Animal nickname" at that time - IF HE'D have known that! He'd have jumped out!!!!

Today, we've had something as rare as rocking horse sh**
a day of sunshine
But! I didn't fall into the trapI haven't bought any sun lotion etc

We had sun, too - still do, it's only 5 pm - but it's only got up to the low 30sF, so...

I've been grousing around because I have a loose tooth that is worrying me, I couldn't get a dentist appointment before late April , so I'm making meals that are easy to chew on one side of my face...

I'm trying to hold out until Monday and then I'll go up to the clinic and ask them if this constitutes an emergency and can they help me get an emergency dentist?

Meantime, my sister's got a migraine so I had to put together church music in a hurry.

No1 - I hope the pain ain't too bad etc.
No2 - Due to "Mrs Thatcher" she cut NHS dentists pay down, so they said! We'll NOT do NHS any more and stay private.
No3 - The countries teeth are in serious crisis!
One dentist opened up somewhere are the queue was about half a mile ? wanting to register there ?

Bristol residents queue for third day to register for NHS dentist

An NHS dentist practice says it has been "overwhelmed" by the number of people registering since it reopened three days ago.

St Pauls Dental Practice in Ashley Road reopened for in-person registrations on Monday.

Residents have been queuing to register at the practice for three consecutive days. Queues began at 06:00 GMT on Wednesday, and some people have taken time off work to register.

The dentist has said it is no longer taking registrations until Thursday morning.

Yeah, it's like that here - only a few dentists accept our insurance. I dunno why, the insurance pays well. Also, they want younger people who want vanity work like implants, etc - not old people with bad teeth like me.

It doesn't hurt yet. I'm just afraid of what will happen if the tooth breaks or falls out.

Another laugh I have
When I was on certain benefits - I got free dentistry and glasses etc.
BUT! When I hit State Pension ageI now have to PAY for dentistry and my glasses
I stopped the dentist bit if there's NO pain, I let them drop out
I'm now down to 8 teeth on bottom gum, nowt upstairs
