I thought, on reading it, that the 'it makes sense in context', bit, was refering specifically to the cult of nighthoover.... in which case it is certainly way off the mark
It must be written by a hootooer, they didn't capitalise 'nighthoover' (and no I dinny wrote it, its splet korrectly for a start) actually, not ever seen that website before

I may, however, have had a hand (along with Roymondo amongst others I think), for some of the urban dictionary entrys on nighthoover hootoo, and indeed the entry on urban dictionary for '2legs' I think ... didn't know that was still going

Seriously... far too well spelt for me to have written... and kinda ll in sentences and everything Though I do declaire a hand in some of the hootoo and related urban dictionary definitions Strnage really... I always remember the 'big' names I always saw on hootoo, in teh way back when, and still kinda think of myself as a newcomer to the website

What kind of outragious rumour would do? .... an apocolyptic one, based on teh wrath of nighthoover, rendering aside the fabric of space time with the giant cosmic suction device of mystory, fate, and probably also of a good local electrical retailer near you?

It might need to be worse than that. After all, the apocalypse has sort of been overdone.

Due to the currently unseen, but influencial cloud of cosmic dust, in the vacinity of plannet X, (and which of course explains the current strange weather in Europe and elsewhere), It is predicted that the resultant decrease in cosmic radiation, and its influence on Saturn and uranus, will result in the final uncovering of the Amazonian deepest secrets, which, unleashing their fearful plague of super-cow-pox, will cause the death, worlwide of all cows. The resulting 2014 cheese famine will whipe out 40% of the worlds popuattion; with a furhter 40% dieing in the resultant cheese wars... Goats will become the most valuable comodity on the plannet, and all current democratic governments, based on the then outdated model of comsumerissm, and capitalist lifestyles, will fall; into the resultant political voicd, a new world order will be established, based on goat ownership in the persuit of cheese.

I think the TV tropes entry (love that site) is a result of an Ask thread here. I seem to remember a flurry of activity in Ask around the bid time, although at the time I didn't know what the heck people were talking about.

I think it's surprisingly accurate - it has to have been written by insiders.
