So how're you doing?

Not so bad. It's nearly spring break/reading week, so I'm not too worried about my academic stuff. Oh and I may have sorted out a house for next year at a reasonable rent.

That reminds me... We need to try to find somewhere with reasonable rent...

Reasonable rent's always an advantage. Stupidly cheap rent would be better, but houses with that often have disadvantages.

There's no place in this area with stupidly cheap rent--not even the places that you wouldn't want to be caught dead in, because you likely would be caught dead...

I see. So why're you moving from where you are at the moment?

Well, as I implied before, the rent is pretty high... and the lease is up soon, so if we're going to move, that would be a good time...

Not interested in the footie, I take it. I'm doing okay. Work seems a little less hectic than last week and classes end soon, so that'll be a relief.
