look, i don't mean to be a whiny baby about this, but was my defeat in LA fair at all? i didn't really even get a chance to defend myself.

I'm sorry if you feel hard done-by sea; I was kind of leaving it open what would happen after the phone message -- but it seems to me that what's happened since then is that the CHOPPERS members are expecting some sort of counter-attack. After all, there could be all sorts of scenarios: a second secret base, or that could even have been a decoy to get the CHOPPERS members attention while the REAL work was being done.
That's just imho.
