Good thinking that man!

I have a bag of what looks like cattle nuts that I got when I got the worms that is labelled "worm treats". Drives them wild it does!

Well in that case it should be:
'wild worms,
You make my heart squirm,
You make everything grooovy
Wild worms.'

Worms! Huh! What are they good for? Absolutely nothing! Say it again!

Lochangel Posted May 29, 2007
Well that is not true cos Dunx says they are very good for composting!

ahha a weather system with a sense of humour...
And hurrah for that! If your weather can't have a sense of humour, what can?

I fear they're very cold this morning as it is grey and grizzly.
On the plus side they have a roof over their heads, so on that count they should consider themselves lucky. They even got some strawberries last night - there's always a couple bruised beyong repair in every punnet (strawbs, not worms...)

Hm - one worm (who I have obviously decided to call Eric) has made a daring escape attempt and was found a yard away from the can-o-worms (which is a long distance in worm terms).
I shall have to give them more worm treats in order to keep them loyal.

I think you should call him McQueen. Did you find the motocycle? Is he back in the cooler?
Remember what Monty Roberts advises. You need to make it uncomfortable for them to be away from you. Thus they will want to be and work with you. Reward good behaviour and ignore bad.

Obviously he was talking about horses... but how different can worms be?

Worms are suprisingly headstrong. And tailstrong when going backwards.

Personally I'm not sure you should be encouraging worms. After all, we're all worried about global worming.
Sorry.
