Feeling so curious I could burst, I decided to pre-buy the European release of Aion - but now that I've gone through all the loops and rings and what-nots it seems I'm downloading the US version...
Any which way, I hope I'll get an opportunity to try it out real soon...

After finally having downloaded almost 6 Gb I tried to log on, only to be told that the logon server was offline.
Mind you, I'm not sure if the server is actually available for logons at the moment, but I seem to have purchased some kind of beta key, so should at least be able to get online earlier than the official release.

And my scout - I spent an eternity trying to catch her winking - which she does, every now and then - but to no avail.
So instead, I'll portray her with the wings. Yes, wings. In this game, once you ding level 10, you can fly.

OK, Beta is over, now I'm in the headstart for those who pre-bought the game, so these characters will be more or less permanent. The graphics are sooooo pretty, fighting moves are really cool to watch in 3rd person view, but I have yet to find a guild.

Sunday afternoon/evening and so many people trying to log in that I can't even get into a queue. I do hope they get more servers/server capacity soon!

you should talk! i accidentally set my screen resolution too high yesterday, so my screen did not w*rk - and without screen i could not reset it
luckily one of our it-
s fixed it for me today
