There's a special circle in hell waiting for the designer and every implementer of the blink tag in html....
Congratulations you WON!

You know, Marv - I think you're right. And far down in Dante's numbered circles, too...
(makes me think of that quiz we did once... )
Congratulations you WON!

Almost as bad as "Take our survey NOW!" You may win a prize! and when you move the mouse, the box follows you. You try and "x" to close it, and it opens!
Congratulations you WON!
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Sep 18, 2007
Yeah, that one's awful too!
Not to mention how many times I've been told that I've 'won' a US green card... *mumble, mutter*
Congratulations you WON!

Santra, I think I remember that quiz. Isn't that the one where I wound up as a saint or a yogi or something? Looking down at all the rest of you getting your just desserts.
I have won all sorts of European lotteries that I never entered. I should be a multi-trillionaire by now.
Congratulations you WON!

i printed two e-mails saying i had won 1 million euros and 1 million US dollars and took them to my bank and asked for a loan until the money actually arrived. the bank guy looked very strange and very politely started to explain to me that this might not be what it looked like.
i managed to look serious for something like two minutes before i gave in. after that we had a good laugh together
Congratulations you WON!
Titania (gone for lunch) Posted Sep 18, 2007
Wow, two minutes? I don't think I'd be able to maintain a poker face for more than a few seconds...
Congratulations you WON!
Irving Washington Posted Sep 18, 2007
I'm not sure I'd have been able to maintain that, either!
Congratulations you WON!
Pierre de la Mer ~ sometimes slightly worried but never panicking ~ Posted Sep 19, 2007
well, it may actually only have been one and a half
and by the way i actually got a loan - just way smaller than the aforementioned ammounts
Congratulations you WON!
