I reckon he was engaged in Very Smutty Stuff when suddenly he had an overwhelming urge to scratch his elbow. At this time, all other available digits were fully occupied exploring orifices, so the poor ol' thumb got roped in. As it were. The strain was simply too much....

** Stylee: Californian for 'style'
