Aye Tom's never not set to Busy or Away, I miss talking to him and feel bad if he's set to B or A in case he is actually working and not trying to avoid people

Let's see, he's a freshman at Oxford now.
He's in the prime of his life, with people
his own age (and, often, temperament) close
at hand. He will remember these days for the
rest of his life. Why shouldn't we all envy him,

I wasn't saying anyone shouldn't, I was just passing agreement on something someone else said about him always being on MSN but never really there

Why shouldn't people envy him? I'm off to a college this September I didn't really want to go to, I'm having to live at home which I definantely didn't want and it's college not university, I totally envy him! He's away from home, he's smart and doing well at UNIVERSITY, I'm going to be stuck in the same boring life I always have been!

And frankly if high school and uni/college are the best days of my life...I want a refund!!

people it's not, unless you were a
basketball star like John Updike's

situation, Emily. If I could give you a
refund, I would.

Problem with COllege isn't that I'm not going to get a good qualification out of it, it's that it looks and smells like my high and primary school (which is what I think it was) and there are so many people I went to school with there who are gonna think I'm weird cause I'm not at a university. I don't see the point anymore, Good GRades haven't exactly gotten me far.

Tom never complain about anything at uni cause you'll always be better off than me, I can't even get more than 20 miles away from home!

When I was a senior in high school, I
applied to a prestigious university
(Yale) and a distinguished college (Bates)
and my state university. The first two
rejected me, so I was left with just the
state university. To my great surprise, I
enjoyed almost every minute of it. The minute
I did not enjoy was during the last session
of my trampoline class, when I came down wrong
and sprained my ankle.

I know how that hurts!

all I meant was, despite all my grades being far better than teh uni were looking for I still didn't get in and therefore am ending up at a college who wouldn't have really cared whether I got a Higher A2 in English...
