The last bit made me laugh a lot.
Once upon a time a carload of female friends of mine broke down on a busy road. Most of them were standing around looking frustrated: a carload of young men stopped to offer help and an impromptu display of macho posturing while they looked at the engine and pretended to know what they were talking about... At that point Jen crawled out from under the car and started the motor. Yep, she's a delicate little (4'11") lesbian.
The lads didn't know what to do and slunk off quietly. Jen dined out on that story for a while.
