Oh yes, observing is my favourite way of being.

Watching people is always fun; they're such strange creatures, and it's not always possible to guess what they will do next.

I don't even bother to guess. I just watch.

I might try that approach - it sounds like less trouble. smiley - smiley

So the world becomes a big anthill in no time.

That's a good way of seeing the world. I'm convinced that there are too many people on the planet these days. They do swarm like ants in some places.

Yep. Not here though.

Or here, either. In Sydney, on the other hand... smiley - headhurts The railways, in particular, are just awful in Sydney.

You have a point there. smiley - smiley It's fair to say that R is smaller, and so less busy even than Canberra - even though on most days I could fire a cannon down the main street of Canberra and not inconvenience anyone too badly.

Considering that unemployment rate is quite high here, we have quite some people on the streets. Or maybe it's elderly ladies. Shopping is the main pastime here.
Well, what do I know. I stay at home as much as possible. And we don't have a main street anyway. smiley - laugh

I also stay home as much as possible - which hasn't been as much as I'd like just lately. Next weekend I'm definitely staying home. It's just a pity that I have to keep going to that office on all the other days.

I'm wondering - if I were to w*rk from home, would I get anything done? It would be so easy to wander off and do Other Things.

Lydia Koidula

Hati

It's more complex than that. W*rking is avoided as much as possible. But then there's this bad conscience that doesn't let me to do much anything else either. So I end up doing nothing. Until the deadline starts to bite, that is. And then I get my w*rk done on top speed. After that I am too exhausted for doing anything else.
And then the next week starts. smiley - zen

I see. I think I'd better keep w*rking in an office, where it's easier for me to manage myself.

Right now, it's time I went and got some sleep. That I will continue to do at home, for preference. smiley - zen

Sleeping at home is good. I value it only more year by year.

These days, even when I'm somewhere nice and having a good time, I still crave my own bed. smiley - zen I spent a lot of time finding it, and a lot of dollars buying it, so I want to spend as much time in it as I can so I get my money's worth.

Good point. Maybe that's why I have my laptop on the bedside table...

Ivan the Terribly Average

I can't put mine on the bedside table - there's a radio, a lamp, at least five books, a CD or two and a glass of water. There's no room for anything else...
