Sounds right. Then again, no money means no food, unpaid bills and all that. That's a very short term solution.
Oh well, I have my little job and it's not that bad either. And it almost pays my bills.

True. No money means all sorts of problems - but there's always the hope of something better happening. Sometimes, a job you hate can kill hope.

Life is killing hope.

Life does a lot of horrible things. Every day there's something new and awful. But despite that, I stil quite like it. The alternative doesn't offer the same opportunities for travel and meeting new people...

Yeah, there are always pros and cons.

These days life mostly offers pancakes and apple pies. Or maybe I am offering.

Pancakes. Apple pie. Two of my favourite things.

In fact, anything with apple in it is on my list of Nice Things. Pancakes with lemon juice and sugar are on that list too, somewhere near the top.

I'm so hungry now...

I love cinnamon, apple pies can take a lot of it. Hopefully I'll get more apples today.

Mmm. Cinnamon. It's perfect with apple...

Now *I* am hungry. Probably it's time for breakfast.

Or very nearly lunch... I find it unnecessary to name meals sometimes; they can get in the wrong order and appear at odd times if they have names.

I'm talking rubbish. I must be tired.

No-no, it makes perfect sense. It's past 13.00, so calling it breakfast would be... Then again, breakfast is breaking the fast I had for few hours, so there. Life is so complex.

Life is far too complex. I've simplified it this evening by having a few drinks after w*rk.

I am waiting for the courier to come and take your book to Tartaronne's. That turned out to be the cheapest and easiest and probably even the fastest way to get it to Australia. I got a lovely offer from the courier company, unfortunately they don't deliver to Australia though. Anyway, the book will soon be on its way.

How odd, to think that I will in fact see her at this end of the world.

I'm feeling rather odd, actually. I should think about going to bed, rather than clearing the hootoo backlog.

Sleeping is always a clever thing to do. But I hope you'll do that anyway. I just noticed you logging off from msn (I never noticed that you were online though).

To be honest, I usually choose to appear offline in MSN; on special occasions I'll admit to being there. I know this is slightly irrational.

So you just want to keep an eye on your friends.

More often, I'm avoiding someone. It's a lovely person, but I just don't have enough time and energy to deal with all of this person's issues sometimes. I think we all know people like that...

Ah yes, of course I know people like that. I usually choose the "away" option. Then I don't feel obliged to answer, yet I can talk to people I need to talk to.
And I use Trillian with 5 chat providers + skype. You may guess I like to be in touch with the whole humankind. But then I don't. Most often I don't have anything to say.

I usually have something silly to say, but nothing sensible or useful, so I keep it to myself.

It's nice to have the ability to be in touch with the whole world - but it's even nicer to be able to choose to sit back and watch rather han participate.
