I have a radio with a remote control at the other end of the house. It doesn't w*rk from the bedroom, unfortunately. Even if it did, I wouldn't be able to hear it from there.

Here most of the life happens in my bedroom. TV is here, all the music stuff, laptop, printer etc etc. Maybe that's because I don't have a livingroom, not an office either. But then my bedroom is 30+ square meters.

Ah. My bedroom's much smaller than that. There's a bed, a bedside table and a chair. That's about it. And me, of course. I take up a fair bit of space in there too.

Not even up against the wall? You could strap yourself in...

Hati Posted Oct 6, 2009
Against the wall... You mean standing on top? Maybe even possible, but that would make opening the door very... I mean, I couldn't probably squeeze myself in then.
The room is 8 m2 or so and it has the bottom of the chimney in it, so it's not even square, more like a shape of a horseshoe. And it still has window and stove. My daughter used to live there. She had a folding couch.

I thought it might be possible to sleep standing up, but you'd have to be tied to the mattress... Maybe this isn't one of my better ideas.

In that case, would it be possible to sleep strapped to the back of the door?

Hati Posted Oct 8, 2009
If someone tried to open the door, then I'd be smashed in the wall.
I think I need a serious diet if I want to sleep in that room. Or a hammock.
But I don't want to sleep there anyway.

That's probably just as well, then.
I'm in an odd mood right now. It's Friday night and I've just turned down an invitation to go out. I must be getting old.

I am in a very bad mood. My daughter has been expelled from school once again and my mother's dog got lost and everything goes wrong.

Ah. Yes. That's quite the wrong approach to education.
What does she *want* to do?

I hope sleeping it off is effective. I never know what to do about toothache, apart from being really grumpy and pulling up weeds and sulking.
