Right, ringo!
Methinks I saw this video, but it was long time ago.
I do love this 'Angie'-song.
But my song for today is 'an oldie' from the 80s: Laura Branigan's 'Self control'!
You take my self, you take my self control You got me livin' only for the night Before the morning comes, the story's told You take my self, you take my self control
...
I, I live among the creatures of the night I haven't got the will to try and fight Against a new tomorrow, so I guess I'll just believe it That tomorrow never comes

Sorry, Rolling Stones never was of importance to me. But surely I like some of their music. I just listened to some greatest hits, the 'Hot Rocks 2'-album, so I try...
Laura Branigan takes me right back to my old classroom. I think it's the only song that gives me associations to my school.
My song is a real classic: Led Zeppelin's Black Dog
(recorded with The Rolling Stones Mobile Studio )

Blessed be ringo!

To celebrate that I've found my Rubber Soul CD after it had been missing for hours (horror!), the song of tonight will be
I'm Looking Through You
"I'm looking through you, you're NOT the same!"

With reference to a conversation from 29 Aug 00
My love is wider than Victoria Lake,
Larger than the Empire State
I'm sure this is from "Is It A Crime" from the Promise album.
I apologise if someone has already given you the answer, I like to reply to things as I come across them, or I get lost!!

glad that you found your way
I like your 'it's not enough' tune, how does it go on?

Hi Bassman, nice to meet you.
Eleanor Rigby sung by Aretha? Never heard this one. But I like Aretha, so I shall listen to it.
Okay, this time it is... 'Mul of Kintyre' by 'The Wings'

I was out with my work mate last night to a pub in Ashby De La Zouch, there were two guys singing and playing acoustic guitars in a corner. We sat and watched for a bit joining in where we could. I was asked if I had any requests - one song sprang immediately to mind.....
Wish you were here, by Pink Floyd. It sounded really sweet. I found myself singing a verse aloud to myself this morning at work.

Siggi Posted Oct 27, 2000
How about
Ain't gonna cry no more today?
It's a nice bluesy Whitesnake tune and has
this chorus:
I'll try hard to remember
So I won't be fooled again,
Hey, ain't gonna cry no more today
