I'm popping in as one of the assistant community editors here, aka <./>aces</.>. We voluntarily greet newbies such as yourself and help you get nicely settled. Providing the introduction was great, so thanks for that - not everyone bothers to. Next carefully review my colleague Feisor's list of Hints and Links at A719840. Of course I imagine curiosity would prompt most individuals to examine the various features in the process. You'll find that there's alot to both see and do. Two fine examples are the substantial assortment of <./>smileys</.> and (I suppose one could say the 'verbiage potential' of) the <./>GamesRoom</.>.
