It was indeed lovely, Shazz, and fit in with the walk wonderfully well!

Let us continue with the walk...watching the Perfectly Normal Gnus, smelling the crocuses burst into song and hearing the birds flower!

It must surely be time to hug a tree now mustn't it??
*wanders over to huge hornbeam and attempts to wrap arms around the trunk*

I would appreciate a few hands here though! This tree is too big for me to hug all on my own! Where is Greebo? She would love to explore it's branches! I swear that I can see some doughnuts hanging far above us

What are planning to do with that, alicat?
Whatever it is, be careful; we don't want to damage either Greebo or the tree, do we? *Slips closer to alicat preparing to snatch crowbar.

I was asked to Post this... she hopes you can help:
Dear friends-
This is to all my out of town friends bcuz you're
less likely to be prejudiced or know who I'm talking
about. I would like some advice, pertaining to guys.
(Please?) I like this guy...he's in 10th grade like I
am, he makes me laugh, we have things in common, we
talk a lot, and I think he's gorgeous. I'm not sure he
likes me though. Sometimes he seems to, and then
others I feel like he's not interested at all. He also
happens to be outside my social circle, but that
hasn't stopped us being friends. Then there's this 9th
grader (almost 16 though) who seems to like me...he's
nice, we have things in common, makes me laugh (not
nearly as much as the first though), and is all right
looking. But I'm not interested in him romantically,
only as a friend. What should I do? Should I try to
get the first guy, and if so, how? Or should I try to
find some feelings for the 9th grader, ya' know, take
what's already there? I'd really appreciate all your advice.~AC

*the glaze leaves alicat's eyes. They are a dull green. She hands Dr. J the crowbar, and, instantly, her eyes change to a clear blue. They look like the waters of the Carribean.* Dr. J., would you like to have a drink with me? I feeel like I need a friend.

Dear AC,
do not be in a big hurry when it comes to trying to find 'Mr. Right'.....having never personally met either young man i cannot say which one you should focus your attentions on. my advice to you would be to slow down and relax, chat with both young men as friends and if anything comes from it then this is great if not then you at least find yourself with two friends. i do want to stress to you my dear that the way someone looks is not really that important in the end, the best looking person can be the ugliest inside and if you go only by looks then you will most likely find yourself unhappy in the end. this is not to say you should never consider being romantically involved with someone who happens to, in your opinion, look good. what this means is that you need to look deeper, look inside them and see just how good they look from the inside.

first, i do want to apologize for posting a relpy partway through the conversation but i wanted to make sure that it was directly under the question i was asked so that it was not lost in conversation.
second....Greebo dear, it looks as if you are in a bit of a 'pickle', let me see what i can do to help.
*carefuly climbs tree hoping she does not fall and sits on the branch beside her dear assistant*
ok, stay calm and we will have you down from here in no time my dear. just let me pick you up and then slowly remove your claws from this tree.
*gently holds Greebo then begins carefully, so as not to cause any harm, remove Greebo's claws from the tree*
there you go my dear, all free . now, why don't we 'hop' down from here and enjoy a nice refreshment, i am sure it will make you feel much better
now shazz, i see that you do really appreciate the beauty of the life that is around us but why not stop hugging this tree and instead draw a lovely picture of it or maybe show it how much you appreciate it by enjoying the lovely shade it provides and sit under it while enjoying a few refreshments yourself
