my dear billypilgrim, anytime of the year is perfect for a nighttime stroll in h2g2 that is the beauty of this place, the weather can be whatever you want it to be.
where am i from??, well i must say that i am from lots of different places, while growing up my father moved quite often so i was never in any one place for very long, i tend to claim being from wherever i happen to hang my bonnet for the moment .
when it comes to late hours, they never bothered me much, i tend to be quite busy during the day so must wait until after the sun sets before i can find the time to 'pop' in and see what has been happening here .
i must say shazz that from what little you showed us the poem is quite good, you really must honour us with the full version
by the way, i almost forgot that i have some doughnuts and milk stashed away in my picnic basket for you Greebo, you may help yourself
oh look! it seems we have made it to the perfect spot to view the scenery ....can you see the animals grazing in the distance over there? aren't they just so peaceful and wonderful looking

Greebo, m'dear, of COURSE I wouldn't eat you!! As for the "perfectly normal beast" I was referring to another forum, where someone (can't remember who) had a great liking for what he called "Perfectly Normal Beast sandwiches."
