Dear Aunty...

Please forgive the tardiness of my answer. I'm afraid that the weekend got away from me somehow!
How to explain my name? Let's see... The silent "7" comes from an old Tom Lehrer bit bout his friend, Hen3ry, who was such an individual that he added a silent "3" into his name. The "Voice of Chaos" was presented to me by my dear friend Marv the Grate, who called me his "voice of Chaos in a Sane World." I rather liked that, so I added it to my name.
That is, I fear, the whole non-sordid tale.

do not worry about being late, i do understand how things can occur which cause people to have to be out of touch for a bit ...i am glad to have you back and to read your explanation of your name, it may not seem interesting to you but for me it is quite interesting. the explanation for the 'Voice of Chaos' part told me a bit about you. it showed that you, at least for this person, were someone that knew how to keep your head (with humour) during situations and made an impression

Thank you very much for the lovely compliment! I always do my best to try to keep my head and help others around me do the same. It doesn't always work, but I can usually get a laugh at the very least.

My dear AA, you do have a gift for seeing the positive in everyone, and a knack for knowing exactly what to say to make people feel good.
It is a powerful gift. Continue to use it wisely.

AA, you don't really want to know.....do you?
OK, two reasons for the name.
1. In the late sixties/early seventies, as an undergraduate, I was a bit of an experimenter in (illegal) pharmacological substances and as the chief supplier (non-profit making) to my friends and acquaintances I naturally got the nickname Dr. J.
2. I have a D. Phil and my real name is John.
Boring, innit?
Here have a

yes my dear Dr. J, i really did want to know and i must say that it sounds as if you had some interesting experiences . as for how you got your name, being an 'old hippy' it is not that farstretched...i mean how many people who lived through the 60's didn't experiment a little?? those who claim they didn't are either telling a fib or quite odd . as a matter of fact i get great tickles out of listening to certain public people claim to of 'smoked but never inhaled' .

Most generous of you, AA. I'll just tag along at the back if that's OK by you and throw in the occasional comment when and if I think of one.

Ah, I would love to join you for a walk. But isn't it a bit early in the year for a late-night stroll?
May I ask, AA, from what part of the world you hail? Your spelling is English English rather than American English. But if you are English, than you keep late hours indeed.

Billyp, I ,too, am English and live in the capital city of the Universe but I'm on-line right now and it's 0240 BST

Capital city of the Universe....?
YOU LIVE IN HOBOKEN!!!!
Hahahahaha. Only kidding. I'm assuming you're in London, then. My dear friend (and more) Shawn lives about 40 minutes from you by train, then.
And I would expect you to keep late hours, my good Doctor. What with your sordid past and all.
