what a fantastic idea dear Shazz ...i think that an article written by Noname for the Post would be great! you do not need to apologize for using my page to promote the Post, of all the people you should know best that the Post is why i am here in the first place. if not for you and your willingness to give me an opportunity to work for the Post i would not be here ...
Noname, do not worry about rejection, Shazz is quite good and i can assure you that she will not reject your writings. Shazz and Pastey are always looking for new talent and you seem to have just the talent they are looking for

Dear Aunty,
I am at a loss for words, you are too kind.I have made a note of the address that Shazz has left for me and i intend acknowledging reciept of it immediately.I really am keen to find out more, about what the POST is and if i have the capability to produce anything worthwhile.Thank you so much once again for your friendliness Aunty and indeed just for being here.Today, although a fine day, seems to of been one of those days which just flashes by.I shall try and pop by thie evening sometime for tea but if i don't make it i shall certainly be calling in over the easter period.

Hi to all... and greetings on a beautiful, sunny Good Friday in Holland
Good news Auntie, I have a wonderful new washing machine, so, luckily for me, it saves me a lot of time which I intend to spend with you over this holiday period
I am such a lucky girl! I have mountains of choccie here... some from a VERY good friend of mine and some from my ex-pupils. I would like to share them out to all your visitors! Lets start off with these *Celebration Mini Chocolates* shall we? All my favourite Cadbury's bars shrunk down to fit in a very large tub
So sorry to hear of your injury Dr J! May we inquire how you managed that?

I broke it diving for a low catch at cricket. (I play for the White Swan Cricket Club) It doesn't hurt much but it makes typing very difficult and slow.
BTW I still want an Easter egg.
Dear Aunty...
shazzPRME Posted Apr 21, 2000
No problem
Do you want a hollow one or one of the Cadbury's filled ones?
*How do you eat yours?*

Hello Aunty, Dr. J. At least you were doing something athletic when you broke your wrist!!! I slipped on the stupid ice. Too late in the year to claim it was a skiing accident, and a motorcycle accident seemed out of character - I only own a moped! I'm getting along much better now - have mastered these cursed crutches on the stairs, so I can at last easily get to my computer.
I have to give tribute to my dear old cat, Promise, for a good portion of my healing. She usually sleeps in my lap when I sit in my easy chair, but for the last 2 weeks she's adjusted her position so her back was against my sorest spot. Not only did I have the comfort of her presence, but her warmth felt so good!!! Its sure good to be mobile again. You take so much for granted till you have to do without it!
Heal fast, Dr. J.

billypilgrim Posted Apr 22, 2000
Ah, cats are lovely, aren't they? Mine is a great comfort in times of stress and sickness.... though I'll admit she was no help to me when I moved, because she was more out of sorts than I was, and didn't come out from under the covers for nearly two months!!
Can I have one of those chocolate bunnies, Shazz? Mmmmm.
Happy Easter to all. Hope the bunny's good to you.

I haven't got a cat (or indeed any type of domesticated animal - it would be unfair to them in the middle of London) but I've got two nieces staying for the weekend and they're being amazingly helpful for a 12-y.o. and a 9-y.o.
Today we're going for a ride on The London Eye (the big wheel opposite The Houses of Parliament) and then I've been inveigled into taking them shopping! Aaaarrrgghh!
Dear Aunty...
shazzPRME Posted Apr 22, 2000
The Wheel should be fun the Dr. J... remember to wave at the h2g2 offices... although they have moved now haven't they which makes it hard to pin them down Two nieces... shopping in London?! I hope that you survive the experience LOL

Dr. J, i am saddened to hear about your little accident i do hope you are not in too much pain. i am happy to see that your nieces are taking good care of you, it is amazing how much help they can be when needed .....
Shazz, so glad to hear that you now have a washing machine, i am sure using the tub was quite a chore for you.....hopefully now you will not be quite so tired out after laundry is finished. the chocolates sound wonderful, mind if i have a nibble or two?
Barney my dear, i am pleased to see you back with us again and do hope that the crutches are not giving you too much trouble, i know they can be quite bothersome when trying to get around, especially on such things as stairs......cats are lovely creatures aren't they? they always seem to know just what to do to make you feel better ....

i love their independance and security cats don't seem to have a care in the world, always just living life for life itself i think that we could all learn a lot from watching our cats
speaking of cats, i miss dear Greebo, her presense is always like a breath of fresh air she has a way of making everyone around her smile...i do hope she is enjoying herself and returns to us soon
