Greetings from an exiled viking
Here I am in the wilds of Hampshire, far away from my native Norway. I have overcome the Norwegian's natural suspicion of anything and anyone foreign to settle here (for the time being) with my Australian husband.
It is difficult to exercise my passion for wintersports, eating politically incorrect foods and telling Swedish jokes here, so I have to go home to Norway several times per year.
Being a mother, the rest of my time is taken care of. To paraphrase Marvin (another professional paranoiac):"here I am, brain the size of a planet and I'm wiping bottoms". Our offspring are going to be a successful combination of Aussie and Viking. You'll see them on the Eurovision Song contest some years from now - they will continue the excellent tradition of Norwegian entries with their ethnically confused blend of Sami-joik and didgeridoo, hopefully reaching that pinnacle of success which is "nil points"
