One Advantage of this Pandemic is that it makes people realize underlying problems and write powerful words about them like the following:
"The coronavirus didn’t break America. It revealed what was already broken."

The other week, I came up with a saying/thought
We have to keep at least 6ft apart, but that is bringing us closer together

I only have two feet. Where do I get the other four?

And if you had six feet, how would you keep them apart?
(at least it would boost the sock and shoe industry)

I have no particular interest in investing in footwear companies, but there may be others who have. Here's a link for them:

Another advantage
Last night, the Danish minority government agreed with all other parties (except for three asocial right wing parties) on another care package to restart our economy (what's left of it).
Among other things this means that all pensioners get 1,000 taxfree kroner (= £120.56/$150.82/€134.13)
(Taxfree means I get 1,000 instead og 610 kroner)
We are meant to spend this money, of course. I already started: Bought a bottle of Syrah holding 17%!

Never burn poison ivy.
What it does to skin it will also do to lung tissue.

This reminds me of a company picnic in which a secretary and a colleague whose name shall be kept secret were - erm - rolling in poison ivy. That was bad enough for my taste ...

I will take that as a compliment.
I tend not to see quarantines as advantageous. There seems to be a surge in new Coronavirus cases in some southern and southwestern states that have become too lax.
sadly, this virus is killing African-Americans at a disproportionate rate. Not because they are African-Americans, but mostly because carrying around vast amounts of body weight is apparently part of their culture. Morbidly obese people are six times as likely to be hospitalized with Coronavirus compared with people of "normal" weight.
For what it's worth, my anxiety syndrome of the last few months has depressed my appetite to the point where I am pretty close to my ideal weight. And let me mention that when I am not eating much, I am very choosy about what I do eat. I also tend to chew my food thoroughly, which is said to increase the amount of nutritional value I can get from it.
My lunch was roast chicken with good-quality potato salad. "
Dessert" was one slice of whole grain multigrain bread, with peanut butter and strawberry jam, folded over into half a sandwich.
Do I sound like Im bragging? Sorry. (not)

While I'm certainly not pleased with the hardships you are going through it pleases me that you are close to to your ideal weight at least. (Always look at the bright side!) I wish I was the same. I am slowly building up willpower to lose weight - again. 15 years ago I succeeded but it doesn't seem like I can build up the same motivation any more. So it's a challenge. Oh well, we'll see. Tomorrow I am venturing out on a pretty lengthy bicycle tour with a couple of friends. I used to love that, but given the state I'm in now I'm a bit worried.
Oh well, I'll survive.
Yes, if you are carrying around vast amounts of body weight you are six times as likely to be hospitalized with Coronavirus compared with people of "normal" weight. No matter what your skin colour is.
