I'm looking at going into aromatherapy and massage, but I found a job in the paper last night for a domestic in a care home, I'm going to ring them this morning and see what it's all about

my daughter went to college for health and social careand then when she got the course, she said "just think dad! when you get to 70, I'll be able to look after you"I said aren't you supposed to be doing that now ??

I've got to send the home my CV, which means I've got to type a new one, I haven't needed a CV for 7 years

I was supposed to have one, when I was trying for work before the divorce no pc in them days and no typewriter, so it was sod freehand

Well it's now been typed and emailed so I've just got to wait

there must be something going on with my server, all this week, I've kept loosing my web link, so as there's nowt on telly tonight(nothing new)I think I'll do something exciting and have an early night

I'm out tomorrow so I'm getting an early night too

the best laid plans etc - just down the road, one particular household go out Saturday nights and usually end up with loads back at the house, twice police have been as the usual arguments(through drink)spill outsidebut last night only 3 were there, but still can't talk/argue quietly

Sounds like our neighbours, but theirs finish after a minute or so, but usually end with a door banging

women fighting over there and err kids fighting over there and me watching through bedroom windows, saves counting sheep

You do tend to listen when the neighbours go at it hammer and tongs. My mum and dad used to listen to their neighbours row, right up to then point that it got interesting and they switched from English to Maltese

aw no! that's like watching a recorded film and the tape ends 10 minutes before the film ends

Mine were going at it this morning, only for about 5 minutes, that's usual for them, but I think the bloke on the other side has been complaining to their landlord AND the Police (according to local gossip, mother and me to be precise ), the language is a bit foul, from both of them but they're not violent, yet.

I know I'm not poshbut to see/hear them when they are outside, I think utterly utterly common, no manners and no schooling

My mum said pretty much the same thing

you've got a good mam there, main reason I know, is YOU have brought Alex up right, so that tells me you've had a good tutor

I have had a very good role model, The words "I remember saying the same thing to you" come back to haunt me when I'm injecting a little maternal wisdom into Alex's life

I just tell my mam, it worked for me and my sister, so it also works for my son and daughter
