While I was still under the DWP looking for work, I wanted to go on a course for Microsoft Office, so I could work Excel and PowerPoint so I could find office work as I couldn't stand anymore. They wanted me to go on a course for computer beginners, turning it on and sending emails, working the internet and things, they wondered why I laughed in their face

Actually! years ago I did go on a free "council run course" to learn office etc
Those running it got special permission to "extend" MY course because of memory loss from past car smash
As I had 2 lessons per week (as everyone else) But! I'd forgot part by the following week and

I passed the courseBUT! After about 4 weeks I'd forgot the bloody lot
I've no chance of spread sheet and all the other stuff

I never did get on that bloody course I'd still like to do it but now I'm unfit for work it would cost me

I looked in "w h smiths" for any books etc on windows office (learning)
naff all as such and owt near was WAY beyond what I'd pay

People used to say to me "learn it online" how? When you need to stop the video TO DO THE ACTUAL WORK!!!!
AND YOU CANT ASK QUESTIONS

I often use a saying I made up

"some people" are 2 braincells behind a plantBUT!!! Still think they are genius's

Many years ago when I used to play Chess!
I was told always play someone better than you! That way you learn..
Play someone lower than you and you drop to their level!

MY level only goes up!

That is actually very good advice
