Actually! I once bought 2 bottles of vodka (sale on ) and I'll try owt once
I took one sip = argh! and NEVER done this before! Poured it down the sink - it was vile

I took the 2nd bottle to my mate, told him and his wife and said - try it and I don't care what you do after

THEY poured it down the sink after one taste !!!!

vodka can be nasty if you don't get a good one

I have NEVER had cause to throw a whisky or vodka away! But! THAT one I think paint stripper would have tasted better

I have drunk vodka in the past but not for a long time, Gin is my go to spirit

Gin! yuck! Can't even stand the smell of it

Brandy and Port in equal measures (when I've got a cold) no3

I was told this "remedy" many years ago, Brandy gets the heart/blood flowing and the Port settles the stomach.. It does work

Might NOT cure a cold, but it does make it more bearable
