Company Policy says that instant dismissal only in cases of Drinking on duty, theft, abuse and violence (thumping someone) and racism. everything else has to go through warnings, more warnings, suspension , investigations, ad infinitum. usually they just move problem people to other units but he's too stupid even for that

the company doing the modernising, all the workforce for this site are out of a job at the end of July. 1 man(site boss) has lost them the contract by incompetence, apparently it's the 3rd time he's lost a contract. From one of the workers who's out,he says that the guy is "a good" friend of the big boss and they go golfing together etc, and all he's done this time, is move him to another site and demote him one rank
