Euro odds = 78 million to 1
for £1- 3 numbers gives a tenner on national, but £1 of that is what you paid
with the Irish lottery, 2 numbers pays £60 plus your £1 stake back

the bookies I go to pays £60/£610/£6500 plus the stake money back

the only thing is, you pick 2 numbers and stake them. whereas you pick 6 in the national, but what me and my mate do is:
we pick 3 numbers = £1 and then perm any 2 for £1 each

1-2-3 £1
1-2 £1
1-3 £1
2-3 £1
so if any 2 come out, we win £61 each, but if all 3 come out
it's £611+£61+£61+£61 = £794 for £4 stake
we're still waiting to hit 3

years ago, bookies was a man's domain as such, but since the Irish lottery the amount of women going in now is massive

I have no idea how a bookies works

if you ask at the counter, or I suppose anyone would show you how to do one
