got to go to doc's today for another blood sample (taken via nurse) ? last weeks result is that "something" is high ? PLUS! I've also booked an appointment with a docfor leg/s check

Saw doc about legs (mine not hers) and after seeing her, went for another blood test. From there it was walk through town to A & E local hospital, doc wanted a doctor there to check my legs etc, plus possible scan (her worry was D.V.T.)
A & E doc, after inspection said it looks like an infection and "we’ll" take some blood (good job I’d still got some) 1 hour later and result was positive but inconclusive SO! Of’t I went for an ultrasound scan (like preggie women have) NO blockage or restrictions found (could have told them that) Now I’m on another 1 weeks course of semi-penicillin antibiotics that should take the redness and swelling down.
It looks like the leg infection snuck in under the carpet while fighting the chest virus, so wasn’t recognized as a separate problem.

that's my excuse anyway

Well done for going, it isn't much fun but at least you know there is no blockage which is what was worrying most of us.

Hope the penicillin works and you are soon feeling much better.
