Just a thought prof, if you are using Norton (symantec) and I dare say a few of the others, it has tamper protection which will prevent system restore from working. You will have to temp. disable that to use the restore program.

At least you are getting ornery about stuff, and that's what we expect.

Take care Prof, sorry you are having pooter problems on top of everything else. I am still not sure if I am back online properly. Got my own pooter 'expert' coming Monday to make sure it is not something my end. Don't think it is my Yorkshire ISP, though I know they have had problems too.

Got message via our friend N, I do hope you are getting better. Try Complan for one meal a day, I find it is sufficient when I am very tired, and the old Horlicks definitely helps with sleep, but I suppose it might not help with the congestion.

Can't suggest as you are on antibiotics, and as someone said, did they eventually find blood among the alcohol

as the old british rail advert once said "we're getting there"
but another err slight problem is being watched by me. There is still slight swelling in my legs and I put that down to water retention, but my left leg below knee has a slight pain and "seems" to be hardening ? last of tabs today and that clears my body, I'll be able to see if leg issue is a side effect etc of tabs or not.
I've only rented this clapped out bodyruns on egg/chips and wd40.
I couldn't afford a top of the range one at the time

At least it's free range

Maybe your enforced inaction is causing problems with your leg. Hope it gets sorted soon,

The swelling of leg with hardness at same time...sounds rather suspicious to me...maybe clot due to inactivity????

I'm with Mad Snacker on this one prof. I usually speak up and sound like a wet blanket, I know that. My legs swell up with anti-biotics but both of them swell and there isn't any pain. If you are only getting a reaction from one leg and it involves pain, swelling and hardness, then it needs investigation, like, YESTERDAY!!!

Yeah, ask a it may be nothing - but then asking doesn't hurt either
