Well, it's good news to hear! You go, Prof JR...
Since I've had my eyes fixed, I've been itching to drive, so I may even start buying lotto tickets again, since it's the only way I could afford the insurance (my cousins offered me a "free" car, but with gas, etc, TANSTAAFL)

My next lesson is this sat and were driving a few miles in other direction, i cant wait! Also trainning for rugby starts soonish as the sports hall floor is being relaid at pindars and that will be once a week though at £24 each time i may not make it to every session. Yorkshire grit one step too far
Rait! 1st caught a cold, that went after one week or so I thought. No it hadn’t, it had moved to chest and after having the same symptoms each winter for the last 2 year, I “thought” I’d let it burn itself out, as the others lasted about that time. So after 6 weeks and it starting to show signing of easing etc, I left it alone. But the next 2 weeks it sort of made a comebackto the point that all energy/strength had gone and taking into consideration ear bending by family and friends – time for doc’s.
Strength had gone that much, that my sister had to help me get my legs into the car as I couldn’t lift them in. Now on a double course of antibiotics
Other “minor” problems was that (it crept up on me) dehydration and that has made my legs swell up a bit and also effects the waterworks. Add to this, have been unable to fully sleep for what seem ages because of limited sleep positions due to shape of body and the constant disposal of phlegm, everything is catnap and I’ve been hitting the duvet about 8.30pm to try and catch some sleep.
Without going in to minor details, 1 problem can be dealt with easy (cold etc) hence the reason why I didn’t go to doc’s early
, but add another few problems that are par for the shape and make-up of my body has meant that this bug/virus has taken hold more than I thought it would, so a lesson learnt.
For the next few days or so, I’ll not be in h2g2, as early nights are going to be the norm’ until energy/strength levels start to get back.
I’ve had worse and as a Yorkshire man – it’ll be rait

Sorry to hear you have been poorly.
The only indestructable part of a Yorkshireman is the lump of stone between his ears.
Take care and get well soon you have been missed.

That's the trouble with being the resilient type, you push on, and on, and make allowances for this and that, until the point that you realise you're further down the road than you thought.
Good to know that people are looking out for you and having a good nag at you for being silly.
You know that we are all rooting for you, stick with the Docs advice, and take the anti-Bees (all of 'em). get plenty of good food, and sleep, keep warm and you'll be fine.
Haste ye back.

Thurs 7th - been to doc's and starting another 7 day run of antibiotics, also had to go to local hospital for chest x-ray.
doc tried to get my oxygen/blood levelbut whichever finger she tried the unit onit would NOT read oneit worked on them
energy/strength levels still at rock bottom and the extra walking round today will drain the tank a bit
still hitting the pillow about 8.30pmand even as no sleep a such, I'm still resting

So they did not find any blood in your alcohol then, eh? No wonder you need to rest.
Hope you'll be better soon, my friend
Oops, (I really ought to put a cork on that hook of mine )

at doc's - checked by nurse and yes! you've still some virus etc left - pass on to doctoryes! you've still some virus etc left have some more tabs and go to local hospital for chest Xray - done
because of extra walking about, that drained the batteries once againto the point that I hit the pillows at 6.30pm. Sleepwise feels like its 10 min kip followed by 10mins awake throughout the night. Got up at 7am with eyes saying "do we have to"
in all my years of catching/having colds etc, I've NEVER had one like this one, for the draining effect
might try jump leads from a car battery

14th Nov went to doc's this morning for result of x-ray = a small amount of fluid at bottom of right lung (not wrong lung) "they" are not worried about this, as it's due to the bacteria of the chest infection. I've still a slight wheezeerr cough cough! so I've got another 5 days of tabs to take - 3 weeks tab taking
plusit looks like part of my windows XP is acting up ? and so farit will not let me system restore to an earlier part, as it comes up - can't restore to here etc?
more twiddling in trial and errorbut if push comes to shove = wipe out
