It was a poem, author unknown, epitomising the strange spelling and pronunciation of English English.

What have I missed?

Hi Prof. Yes the reason would have the possible copyright issues
when anyone quotes an entire work verbatim. Although it has to be said
the authorship of the poem appears 'Unknown' but we still have to err on
the side of caution when people quote large parts of another work.
